The Renault Clio has been an uninterrupted hit since its launch in 1990 - and 16 million of them have been sold worldwide so far, over 1.1m of them being sold on UK shores! Are you able to confirm if the esprit alpine trim has a 360 degree camera and parking assist? I noticed the buttons for it along with the front camera below the Renault logo but everywhere on their website just mentions a reversing camera only?

The UK car will not have a 360 degree camera or park assist. This vehicle was a right hand drive pre production model provided by Renault UK.
The shorter infotainment screen looks so much better. Sure, it doesn’t give as much screen estate, but it blends into the dash whereas the larger one just looks it was stuck onto the dash as an afterthought.

We haven't heard anything regarding a new Captur as of yet.
@7:16, small note, those 16" Boa Vista rims aren't alloys, they are steel wheels with hubcaps made to look like alloys, but are really just steel with plastic caps.

Renault UK specify them as alloy wheels and seeing as the car hasn't even launched yet we have to take them at their word.

@@smcmotorgroup Those are the exact same as the pre facelift had with the entry level (previously named "amicitia"). Same story with Renault mentioning Alloy's while they weren't really. Same goes for even the Clio 4, who had that same setup with slighly different hub caps. Here is the part number: 403155679R. You can google this and see them for yourself.

Manufacuters often make specification choices based on what their customers want and what will sell. It might be a case of while a sunroof is important to you in your purchase decision it isn't in the vast majority of Clio buyers.
seems like Clio is the only new model that you can get in petrol, all others are Retard Hybrid or pure electric. Shame, I really like Austral. Clio is a bit small but I have to say it looks really nice!

There is the Captur too which is available with a TCe 90 engine. They do offer a pure petrol version of the Austral in left hand drive markets but as we discovered with the Arkana when we offered both on those, 98% of customers purchased the hybrid version. As a result we dropped the mild hybrid petrol Arkana and decided not to offer the petrol Austral. Give it a go though, you might like it.

@@smcmotorgroup I don't like hybrids because they do two things poorly instead of one thing right, but the biggest problem living in England is cat thievery, I don't know how easy it is to take it off a Clio but I'd rather not risk it if it's anything like a Prius

Well they are by far the most popular powertrain we offer. We don't hear a lot about cat thefts in our cars (they would come to our workshops for repair after all). But then we're fortunate enough to have our dealerships in a low crime area.
