Your guide to 4x4 off-road driving | Guiding 101

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

We join EcoTraining Instructor Michael Anderson in our brand-NEW series Guiding 101. In our first episode, we look at 4x4 off-road driving techniques to ensure a comfortable and safe drive.
In the safari guide industry having great driving skills and good technique are key elements. Mike has been out in the bush for many years and has been driving our students and guests all over. Driving in the bush may become tuff and challenging. Knowing how to handle your vehicle is an asset.
Let us jump into the game drive vehicle with Mike and learn some tips and techniques.

Thanks Mike, I still remember your tuition about hardly using the clutch during my EcoTraining in March, but should my memory fade with time, I can always come back to this video!

I can still hear my Dad, calmly but with a slight panic in his voice, "foot off the clutch foot off the clutch" 😂. I like the new series, thank you 🙂.

Even though I will never drive in the bush I found this really interesting. Looking forward to more episodes.

Thank you for this video. I always use the clutch, but I hold it in and frequently lightly brake. It helps but it is uncomfortable. Thanks for the info.
