Pile 2 - He was my tutor during a diploma course I'd taken alongside my job (we're around the same age). He was really curt with me when I asked him about something, his tone was really sharp and hurtful. Once we came face to face with each other in the hallway and I looked up (he's much taller) to acknowledge his presence and smile politely but he looked up, like at the sky to avoid eye contact..lol. That and the fact that I could see him smiling when I smiled or laughed during our group discussions. That's when I got the inkling that maybe he likes me too (I had developed a crush over time despite his grumpy exterior..lol) He's a different race/country and left when the course ended. I thought he would contact me but hasn't yet... :(

I chose the second pile as well. We also met because of education. He was my classmate at high school. Our conversations were so freaking akward (too), it’s like he mirrored all of my insecurities back to me and he did laugh at a lot of things that I said, even if it wasn’t a joke. Only the eye contact part was different, because we looked at each other for months and months from a far, but didn’t say a word. First, it was because both of us were shy, but after that he had a girlfriend, so it was basically forbidden that we communicate more - since she would’ve see it. I knew that he realised that he has feelings for me, when he was already with her, but he got scared and basically turned his back on me. And same, I also thought that he would contact me by now, but I didn’t see him since we graduated:)

Pile 3 ✨ uhm you know weird things just keep happening to me. Whenever self doubt hits me bad, like I don’t feel good about myself especially my appearance, I’d hear this voice in my head which I don’t recognize and they say exactly that “I wish you’d see yourself in my eyes.” And now, my future spouse also tells me the same thing. my my, I really love the synchronicities! I just watched another of your silent pick a cards (what frustrates your FS about you) and you also mentioned in pile 1 that I was hard to get lool Tbh I can relate a lot, I hate making promises and if someone does it, I don't really trust they will follow through, to avoid disappointments. You know, I'm very happy to read that they have patience and had faith from the beginning. That's the kind of person I want beside me. I'm also one of those people who doesn't give up when they believe in sth. The song, aaah. There's a reason why I'm single rn, I'm not sure I'm ready for "heaven", I know I don't want a toxic relationship but I'm working on my self worth because an important part of me feels love is earned, and I don't feel worthy.
