hey yo i know this is 3 months old and you might of already heard of this but flash will most likely not die at all. the developer of newgrounds and so many other talented developers are working on a project called ruffle which will basically let you play flash games in your browser theres a few bugs with it now and some games are not perfect anymore and its only avalible on newgrounds but they are working on turning it into a browser extension so you can play any flash game on any site. hope this helps

hey theres an app called bluemaxima's flashpoint, it has over 45,000 flash games on there and are working to preserve more so you can install that and play them after december

Oh jeez, this is painful to hear. I didn't play a lot of Flash games as a kid (honestly never heard of Fancy Pants before your video) but there are some that are rather dear to my heart. I remember when my dad introduced me to Nitrome. I saw him playing some weird game on his computer, and I asked what it was, and he explained In The Doghouse to me. I was interested, got on the website, and went to town. Not just In The Doghouse, but I also loved Avalanche, Worm Food, and Parasite. I'm going to be really sad if these are gone forever. They were such an integral part of my teens, and a great way to bond with my dad at a tumultuous time for my family. A few years later, I was introduced to the Robot Unicorn Attack games. I had been having terrible, unexplained anxiety attacks, and some friends suggested these games as a way to cheer me up. They didn't always work, but they were fun, and it was sweet of my friends to try to help. (Turned out the anxiety attacks were caused by a severe iron deficiency and the resulting calcium deficiency, which unfortunately Flash games can't fix, but I still feel grateful to have something positive to remember from that time in my life.) I really hope these games are preserved just because it's really sad to think that these games that meant a lot to me back in the day (and honestly still kinda do) could disappear into obscurity and be forgotten forever.

I believe tone of the most underrated games is *Hobo series* . It was pretty famous at the start, but after some time, people seem to lost interest in these games. It's kinda sad, because it has to offer so many attack combos in the last one of them and it's so much fun to use them.

There was this one flash game i played as a kid. I forgot the name of but it was my favorite playing back in 09. It was a 4v4 game where you play as stick figures the objective was to eliminate the enemy team with an assortment of weapons. That was the best game ever.

This is so depressing and sad, my entire childhood was dependant on computer games...and they were all "Flash" games. I didn't even realise while being in a younger age that "Flash" was the responsible one making my favourite childhood computer games work successfully. Flash was such an essential thing to have and I didn't even notice.. even today it's an essential needed thing 😢 I didn't even know that it's been on decline for years or that there were plans years ago, that it would be shutting down in 2020. I only recently a year ago in 2019 found out, whenever I would open my usual Chrome browser to have a weird message at the top pop up saying "Flash will no longer be supported after December 2020". And here I was in my past pre-teen/teen years enjoying it like it was a permanent thing. Oh well...atleast I'll still have the memories of it in my brain 🤷‍♀️. It all makes sense tbh cause now it's reminding me that I'm 19 yrs old and that I need to move on to adult life and focus more on my responsibilities, signalling it was only there throughout my childhood years JUST CAUSE I WAS A KID 🤦‍♀️😒😭😂. Even now, I still play flash games for entertainment. So they're shutting it down because it's not a secure or reliable source? Well nothing suspicious or bad has happened all these 10+ years, so what bad could possibly happen now if they decide to leave it be? 🤔 Honestly, who would bother going through all that process of de-updating their browser just to go back to the versions where there was Flash?? It isn't worth it if you'll randomly catch viruses and security risks on top of that. If Flash is being planned to be slaughtered then they should replace it with an alternative to make all the "Flash games" continue running permanently with a different player. This is not a small Issue that people are gonna get over easily, it was everyone's childhood.. hopefully Adobe, Google or whoever is planning to shut Flashplayer down hears everyones cry and does something about it so that everyones happy :/

I had the same thing in year 3 but with Run 3 and the whole class was cheering me on then the next school day everyone was playing Run 3. I also did the same thing with year 4 and year 7. U thing u were a legend, I completed 64 levels in 15 minutes

Flashpoint slaps, it even has those old Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon flash games

Personally, duck life was one of the most nostalgic games for me. I know most people have never heard of it/dislike it, but I still love it! Edit: Another one of my favourites, which I would put here but it seems people like duck life. Is super mechs, I used to play it everyday and the joy and fun I got out of it is unreal.

There actually a project that has backed up all Flash games, videos and other flash content, the program is called Flashpoint. I've played games on it such as Poptropica, Extreme Pamplona, Papa's Pizzaria and Bad Ice-Cream. They all worked well and loaded really quickly. If there's any kind of Flash video or game you can't find anymore, it's probably on there. :)

When I use seven I used to play kizi and other flash games, like club penguin and stuff, there’s nothing that can describe the joy I had.

There was this amazing game called Sandcastle, but dont let the name confuse you. It was this game that you played as a cannon that came out of the castle and there were ships coming at you. You had to destroy the ships before they destroy your village. You also earn gold coin to buy some cool ammunition. Depending on how damaged your village is, yo will lose gold to fix it after every round. It was really fun!

Union city was better than FCA resident evil. Nearly all games i see as of late are some shitty pixel art and idle . Maybe medieval cop& chronicles for the good humor, but not much else. Heck, most of the devs have their own, paying studios(kingdom rush and zombotron for instance)

While I wouldn't say it's the best Flash game ever, it *is* absolutely amazing, and definitely one of my faves! Played 1, 2, and a little bit of Dead Zone and didn't enjoy them nearly as much.

i myself one day decided to visit super mario flash for the first time in years and browse the level portal for hundreds of pages just to find some of my old levels i made and published in 2010-11 and visit them again, that was one hell of a nostalgia trip

1:11 I often waited 30 minutes for a flash game to load. That's 30 minutes of occupying the phone line and running the risk of being shouted at by my parents.

What's underrated is pica-pic. Pica-pic took a bunch of widespread, nostalgic, LCD handheld games from the 80s and preserve them in a flash player format so that you could play those same very LCD games online since many of those LCD games from the 80s have been lost or forgotten. I'm worried about those LCD flash games being lost. I particularly enjoyed playing pieces of The game and watch series such as octopus and legend of Zelda.

Damn I miss playing flash games. Played them a lot back in the early 2000s with my older brother. We’d play slime soccer, that tanks game, the bow and arrow stick figure game. And so many more. Especially club penguin and happy wheels. I think RuneScape used flash, can’t remember if it did or not. Glad to hear that some flash game companies are creating their own flash, so we can play them still.

I can't quite remember the name of it , but it was about 2008 and on rainy day play, I used to play a Lego Racer game where you drove round this map and did stunts. Sadly when I went to Year 6 the game had been taken down/ required different flash and the school PCs didn't support it anymore

I think all the papa's pizzeria games on coolmathsgames were underrated

I remember playing dragon fable in middle school. I even got the dragon amulet from my dad for getting good grades. So glad that it has been saved via launcher
