the only thing that triggered me was you using Amber/Venti's Normal attacks on a Ruin Golem to show dmg output i guess but normally you use Bow characters ''Aimed shot'' on their weak spots in this case hitting the golems eye/core 2 times in order to deal much greater dmg.. Anyways great video!

@@velvetra29 Actually no, the bug in Electro-charge are 2 things, the First one is the trigger element. If u trigger with eletro, he will deal aoe damage only, and not DOT, if u trigger with hydro, he'll deal DOT damage only, and not the AOE. The other thing is as in patch 1.0, the Eletro-charge only scales with Eletro characters, not Hydro Characters, soo if u trigger an Eletro-charge with an Hydro character, it will not be increased by EM, and Level. That's the official statment of Mihoyo, and it will be fixed in patch 1.1 as they say.

@@hangomez9015 the problem is that you're confused with the Skill damage vs Elemental Reaction. The Skill Damage scales with Atk, so if u invest ATK on FIschl, you increase her damage output with Oz and her Elemental Burst, But if u want to increase the Elemental reaction that u trigger with Fischl, Than Level and Elemental Master is your goal. The Same goes for Anemo Character such as Venti / Sucrose.

I noticed that everything can be fixed with money in this game.

Im f2p (actually not anymore as per today), just got the 90 primogems everyday for 30 days plan, just to support devs and save primos for Xiao. It's just a small amount but still. I have Mona and Diluc(all weapons are crafted.) If I'm lucky or saved enough primos again. I'll either have Xiao or Zhongling as my 3rd 5*. So it's not really p2w. I actually just got Diluc hours ago today, I'm trying to pull Klee( got Diluc instead on 79th pull) I also have Fischl(1 cons) , Sucrose(1 cons), Xiangling(3 cons), Barbara(1 cons?), razor(1 cons), xingqiu(1 cons) The rest are Bennett, noelle, Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, and traveller

It’s so hard to build characters to be powerful as shit when you don’t have the 5* weapon or artifacts that were made for certain elements/characters. I need people to start saying what’s the best 4* weapon and artifact for them, it’ll help a lot

It's best to just increase the character's level first because Talents requires the same mats that you need to ascend that character. Of course, stockpiling on books is good before endgame, but it's easier to get books than mats. And since Talents depends on your character's stats, it's way better to increase their level first.

in terms of what to focus 1st Level > Weapon > Artifact > Talents in terms of what will help give the biggest dmg late game, it goes somewhat the opposite way

In short : Step one : Upgrade your main Team. Step 2 : Make the Artifacts " connect " with the Character. ( I have a 20% higher reload for Xianglings Ulti because her Ulti is really useful ) Step 3 : Good weapons that also " connect " with the Character AND make good damage. Step 4 : Try fighting some mobs and try different things ( weapons , artifacts ...) and look how much the damage changes. Step 5 : Level. (Bonus step) Step 6 : Money. (Edit : People were mad that i used " I " bc i was too lazy to write numbers so i fixed that(?) )

the color of the monster name is an indicator, when your character level is more than 10 levels higher than the world monster the name of the monster appears in Green, or easy kill. i believe it will also give less Mora and exp per kill. and when the level of the momster is more than 10 levels higher than you, meaning if you enter a domain or dungeon for lvl 70 when you just ascended and is still level 60/70.. the monster name will be in RED, and you will find yourself having a hard time.. as you will crit less, and take more dmg from them.

Only 3star weapons that I use are the book that boost attacks when you switch your catalyst (I use it on Barbara) and the polearm that has hp% on Thoma, since he needs lot of hp for his shield function

tbh if you have a good dps with decent artefacts upgraded you'll be able to farm some 4* or 5* artefacts on elite bosses (it will take you some time to take them down). Then you will have a power spike from it (gladiator set with ATK / CRIT % / CRIT DMG is HUGE on swords characters). wish you good luck to not hit %def %hp etc !!

Guaranteed 5-star character for every 90 wishes in the relevant banner (they don't share progress, but the progress does carry over for the limited banner). That's how I got Klee and Diluc after almost 2 months :p

I would disagree on this one. Elemental reactions are what's really important, at least for my party. It's almost 80% of the damage I do. Well unless you main with someone that uses a catalyst. But my main is a physical damage dealer, and talents, atk, and crits are not enough.

​@@Erwiinstein no problem, it's your opinion... and is my fault to not clarify more my argument... but now I can! First, see this video: watch?v=qPS50VDH_RM. Here you will see Keqing erasing all world bosses like nothing, and on 3:38, you can see a proof of my argument. Keqing with elemental mastery with 19 points, but critical rate and dmg very high, dealing 2k~5k damage on charge attacks. Before I see this video I made a similar approach with my Fischl (I dont have keqing yet), with ATK 2301, CRIT DMG 59.3% and CRIT RATE 25%. My Fischl almost delete all world bosses without any effort, dealing damage between 1k to 2.5k in each attack, and 4k in charged attacks. Because Fischl is a archer, I cant do charged attacks faster than a sword user, so I cant do what keqing do in the video (in terms of speed), but I guarantee that building around CRITICAL DMG and RATE will be, on future, best for your character.

Some reaction type do scale with your character's damage. Melt and Vaporize specifically magnifies the one-time damage that triggers the reaction by 1.5/2.0 times (this scale can be further increased by elemental mastery)

Additional info, if you reduce enemy physical damage reduction with superconductor, the remaining percent only decreases it by half, example if they have 20% dmg reduction we have 30% left to reduce which is cut in half and give them -15%

Honesty, everything mentioned here is obvious to every player, it's just based on ur luck with gacha and the drops from farming.

There is a crucial mistake in what you say about elemental reactions. Vaporize and Melt are not like the rest of the reactions. They can crit, and they not only scale with level and elemental mastery, they also scale with ATK.

Good video except there is one thing that I’m starting to doubt. While playing with Razor you do 1-3 attacks and dash, but not the finishing blow. As far as I know, witch characters like him the most optimal DPS goes with 1-4 attacks and dash or skill...Is it better just going with 3 attacks then?

question: after you showed the 380 or whatever elemental mastery on fischl was that clip of overload using that EM stat? I'm running a 0 EM fischl and shes doing like 300 less damage that that at level 70 without overload and am wondering if that clip was also 0 EM

3 star weapons aren't all worthless. Some of them like the Halberd are able to scale fairly well due to their strong effects. These weapons are few and far between, however... So yeah, 4 stars for the most part, but do consider your 3 stars. Some characters' best in slot weapon is a 3 star, like Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers on Barbara due to its extremely powerful damage buff that makes burst builds super viable

Heh, I wish: I just reached AR28 but I only get blue artifacts, and probably got like a dozen of epics. I don't really roll much so all of my gear is based off drops and dungeon drops. Looks like I'm in for a tough ride.

I was really lucky to pull a Skyward Harp in my first draw 10 and a Diluc on my third when I started playing this game a week ago.

It'd be great if I could actually get good fucking artifacts from domains more often. Right now my top damage dealer is just traveler because I built them from the beginning, but I'm transitioning to Klee. Traveler is level 60 and is only doing 833 ATK because I can't find any better weapons or artifacts. I'm AR32 if that means anything. Is there a benchmark for how much ATK you should be doing?

For min-max, its much better if you start going for domain at ar45(ar40 if you think you barely do enough damage outside of abyss) because of 5star droprate is better. Iirc at ar 30-39 I got 1.3k+- at my Keqing as main dps. Just remember atk is not everything. Definitely use those Element% dmg and CritRate/Dmg(1:2 is ideal) if you managed to get on suitable artifact for your character.

Level up items too. You don't need to wait. You can use later any item as material and lose only 10% EXP.

Notice that his Razor lvl 70 and some of the clips, he's beating up lvl 50 mobs. But yeah, his Razor is pretty crazy.

@@digyana No idea about that. One thing would be superconduct to make phys res become negative. Another thing would be that domain's buff, extra 75% phys damage, iirc. Another factor would be he ate attack food that increased attack and crit rate. He might also be using Gladiator set for 40% extra normal attack damage. But still, I do not know how he hit for 6k average and how he had 16k on one hit

i use kaeya and razor for superconduct almost all the time, with kaeya first and razor second. Does that mean my razor has to have more elemental mastery than atk stat? Or should elemental mastery be on all of my team cuz i do use elemental reaction a lot?

This game needs to remove the weapon gacha from using the same currency as character or make it 5 orbs for gear 10 pulls

Reducing the enemy's resistance below 0% percent gives 50% damage increase of the negative amount For example, enemy has 10% Pyro resistance, you apply Viridescent Venerer 4-Piece effect with pyro, 10% - 40% = -30%, you then will have an additional +15% (30% * 0.5) Pyro damage increase against that enemy

If you have Sucrose and Xiangling, and you use both Qs, which character should be higher level?(in terms of pure Q total damage, not overhall)

I have Diluc and Xian, But I really like how I use Fischl and Razor....(the other 2 party members are surcose and Barbara with dragon slayer book)

so im on ps4 and f2p my current team is razor(dps) mona sucrose and chongyun, yet im running into issues that sucrose+chong isnt great, but freeze+elec is my only good dps type combination. is it better to swap out sucrose ? I always see ppl run anemo so im not sure. I recently got xiangling tho but still at lv1. meanwhile my sucrose just hit lvl50. also my sucrose is at constellation 2 which makes me wanna keep her, yet shes barely helping tbh

My damage was pretty good until I got to AR 35. I made a MAJOR mistake of only focusing on *ascending* the characters and NOT their weapons or artifacts. For example: my Aether is lvl 80 with a lvl 40 sword. HUGE mistake

So when is the Mona video :p I just got her and have no clue how to build her so in all seriousness, it would help.

the only way i know of is with the Sacrificial weapon set, they give a chance to automatically reset the cooldown of your elemental skills when used, the probability increases with refinement but they're all 4* weapons so you won't get many, I'm AR45 and I have like 3

I have AR31. I'm mostly using Traveler as main damage dealer so i gave him full berserk set, prototype rancour and i'm always upgrading him when i can. But he still deal only 400 dmg per hit. What should i do? I have upgraded talents but it's not helping much

Hey, I have quite a lot of 4 star characters, including Barbra, I put some attacking artifacts on Barbra (some of my best ones), do I keep it on Barbra, or do I put it on my higher dps characters? (I'm kinda new to this game)

Barbara's usually used for healing. She will heal you a certain portion of her hp so you should focus on putting hp stats on her. So the more hp she has, the more you heal.

As a lore and story plot focused player, this guide is really helpful because now on AR 38 I literally have nothing to do except discovering hidden chests and climbing up the spiral abyss. I have been delaying doing the latter so far cos I'm that lazy to level up... but well now it's time to put my charas in a good use I think 🤪

For artifacts, 5* is not always better though it would depend on its base and substats. Say a 3* whose main stat is atk% with atk, em, crit, critdmg substat would defeat a 5* with anemo dmg main, def, def%, hp, hp% substats on your geo character. Artifacts are pure rng though so results may vary

So if I’m using a charachter just for their r2/e for example sucrose should I use artifacts with elemental mastery or anemo damage bonus

I do around 300 dmg with keqing lvl60 am i doing something wrong?

300 basic damage or 300 max damage? If the basic is 300 then I think that’s ok since it’s 2x my Keqing’s basic atk damage already. If the maximum damage you can do with your Keqing is 300 then I think you might need to do some fixing with your artifacts...

I currently built tartaglia's maxed artifacts with crit rate/dmg and mixed random energy recharge. While checking his stats I saw his elemental mastery was at 0 (lol). Do I have to change it with artifacts with elemental masteries?

i notice on chinese videos, they are saying Xing Qiu and Bennett are both under rated chars. Benett is because of his Q skills which either buff you chars with ATK Up if HP is above 70% or a HP regen if HP is under 70%. while Xing Qiu, main draw is his ice swords which mitgate dmg by a lot, and his Q skills work even when you switch to a fire char likr Diluc or Xiang Lin, and it constantly shoots out rain swords by 3 and 2 (alternative) to create element reactions, of vaporize for fire or for Keqing/Razor it will combo well to do Electro reaction. since Xing Qiu is also a banner rate up hero now, i guess some of us may have him at constellation 2 or 4 but still sitting at lvl 1, and not working on him.

3:50 I'm pretty sure Overload can crit can't it?

@@prays1n Because swirl, overload, electrocharged and superconduct just doesn't crit at all. Test it on an enemy, numbers will be constant all the time.

Try to have at least 1 char of each element built i think, i tried to ignore cryo and focus only on Pyro and Electro. and i found myself struggling with Hyrdo bosses because my Pyro hits so little against them. cos i only wanted to do Cryo if i got Qi Qi as i didnt "like Kaeya or Chongyun" but i was forced to admit having 1 of them build makes going against Hydro and electro bosses easier as you can freeze hydro boss to stop them from putting you in a water bubble, abd then switch to Pyro to Melt that Ice or shatter it with a Claymore normal hit. even a low level Kaeya with his "E" skill is enough to do the trick. Knowing what element counters what.. is important than raw damage and just trying to use ur Pyro skills on a Hydro shield.

You don't really need to level up a character just for dealing with shields. Level 1 Kaela deals with hydro and electro shield just as well as lvl 80. So you can use him just for tech reasons. Same With Barbara if you want to break fire shield or Amber for cryo shield.

2:25 I severely lucked out, then. I have a 5* Gladiator goblet on my Razor that, as of typing this comment, boosts his Electro damage output by ~30.6% until I have the fodder to upgrade it further. Probably not the best choice for an Electro damage carry, but it makes him more versatile as a physical dps/reaction trigger hybrid.

I just got keqing And I'm confused as to how i should build her (physical damage or electro dmg type) And is it good to have razor and keqing on the same team ?

Build her depending on the weapons u have. If you only have rancour than id go wit physical. If u got like flute, lions roar or some other weapons than u can build electro. And u can use razor and keqing together, in fact i use to use the two in my main team

@@sneax5706 yes, but ideally, you dont need both Kekinq and Razor sincd they are both main DPSs (and great ones btw) and you dont really need 2. The wiser choice would be to level up the 5 star character, especially if you have Lion's Roar

So when using Venti's Q, which is better: Using Q right away, switching to Beidou for example, and applying electro or Using Beidou to apply electro, then switching to Venti and stay as him? In which case does Ventis elemental mastery matter more?

Venti elemental mastery is priority because of swirl which buffs damage of other elements

Swirl is a constant reaction so venti's elemental mastery does matter. But if you were to use a Diluc/Klee to cause overload during that electro swirl then their elemental mastery would also matter since they are the character activating the new reaction

Razor specializes in physical attacks. Still building him electro. His skill spam is solid.

I lvl up today to 40 thinking that i would get hard rolled againts Storm and the wolf, my mona just almost one shot storm and dealth more than 64k damage to the poor Wolf guy and got an achievement Anyways this helped a lot tho!

Prob 21.7% lul 25% hydro damage bonus Team Barbara 2 const which increase hydro damage up when the healing hab is on, also Barbara is holding the dragon tales book Xianling full elemental Mastery and fischl for assist She normally does decent damage, but the fun comes when the crits shows up which honestly happens quite a lot lol I have it on video so i can uploud it if u want to see :)

You might find it interesting with you’re Mona before it gets patched. Lets not forget crit and crit damage modifiers. Blunk weak atks wont do much in end game unless you have crit or crit dmg

So i have a question , really hope i could find an answer for it, if i use xiangling Elemental burst and then switch to fischl so i can use E and start auto attack, when the overloaded reaction occurs, does it take into account (xiangling ) or (fischl ) elemental mastery to calculate the dmg ??

The last one to dish out the elemental effect. E.g. if you hit with xianling's burst first then fishcl e it'll use fischl E.M. and vice versa
