I think you’re successful in appealing to a wide variety of levels and interests in the photographic community and many are interested in learning of your journey and how it might apply to theirs. Everything that you offer may not be relevant to everyone all the time but it is never preachy and is delivered with humility. Keep your approach, it’s genuineness is appreciated.

"I keep a close watch on this heart of mine I keep my eyes wide open all the time I keep the ends out for the tie that binds Because you're mine, I walk the line" -Johnny Cash Thank you for laying out your modus operandi Frederick. It was apparent in all your videos that I have watched, but it was good to hear you state it out loud. I have never seen a comparative review of lens mount adapters. All I have ever seen are people saying you can adapt this sort of lens to that sort of body. Which is not really surprising since KZread is a device for selling stuff. (with a few exceptions, like you.) Thank you for another thought provoking video. Keep it up. "You don't lead by pointing and telling people some place to go. You lead by going to that place and making a case." -Ken Kesey

The classic 5D is a sweet camera, it was worth the purchase. I have had very good luck using Olympus adapters on other Olympus cameras, but not so much using other brands adapters. You videos are always informative and enjoyable.

Your videos are very helpful, and informative. I love your videos on the older Nikon gear. A lot of people are gear driven for the latest, and greatest. As a photographer we all know its the Photographer that is important behind the camera!

Your videos helped me decide on picking up an excellent condition low shutter count Nikon D4s. Your videos on white balance and bracketing have also been helpful with the camera!

I'm surely not a new photographer, but re-starting after a fifteen year break. So much has changed, so much has remained the same. I have three Nikon macro lenses (60 AF, 105 AF and 200 Ais.) and I usually manually focus the AF lenses because sometimes they hunt for focus as you've described. I've always been a Nikon fan but I agree with your last video in that if another system has something better/cheaper that does the job for you then you shouldn't be married to a system. I appreciate your videos. I learn and am inspired by them. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the shutter short on the d750 I have wanted this camera so long and couldn't justify buying one new in box for the price, now I can get one used and get the new shutter and have confidence in a new old camera

Thank you 🙏🏻 - be mindful that the shutter issue is only applicable to the very first production units of the D750. The confirmation is in the serial numbers!

When I have the problem as you had with the paint brush..... I have FN2 is directed to:: SUBJECT TRACKING (box),,IN(AF-C)I place the box on the subject and I can recompose and the box stays on the subject.... FN1 is directed to:: (Focus mode/AF-area mode) !!!!!!! This way I can quickly move to OPTIMAL FOCUSING for most any subject I come across (i shoot many types of things) and want to move quickly.... I learned this from Omar Gonzalez YT Channel (he shoots Nikon as well as other camera brands.. :) :) :)

Well I got hold of Nikon PC 35mm 2.8 lens for a low price. The lens would go well with your D700 or D4 if you have them. Manual Focus AI lens. Autofocus isn't needed. However because it's a lens not in high demand it was something I could afford. What blew me away was the sharpness of the lens. Anyways you can find them between $100-$250. I have yet to have a chance to put it through the paces but that's coming. The photos I have taken we're just as clear as how I saw them.

I don't autofocus most time especially when it comes to product or macro but I know the z6 has something like the focus area. SInce you're focusing on something really little, you might wanna consider spot focusing ( something like that ) what you're experiencing is likely the result of a wide area focus set in your camera.. I might be wrong but that's what I think..

Thank you for sharing Josh - in the video I am shooting in AF-C mode with single-point AF. I think it is as narrow as it gets when shooting AF-C.
