Dina you’re definitely an inspiration to me. Thank you for “breaking the stereotype” and showing people that you can be a Muslim woman, wife, mother, career woman, etc. with goals, dreams, hobbies all at the same damn time! You’re so beautiful and hilarious and kind, may Allah bless you and forgive all your sins. Ameen🙏🏾💗

I love that you don't apologize for your identity in general and that you present muslim women as normal equal people :)
Love the documentary style! hope to see you do more of this x
My second time watching this documentary and I can't express how much I love it Awesome work , simply awesome
There needs to be more documentaries like this, showing Muslim women in a positive light, spreading awareness and building bridges which connect communities. I think this is just what is needed in society. Great video Dina and one of the best I have seen for a while!
I love Sid corrected Dina by saying "when you're talking about 'it' you mean the Quran" cos he's right.

*i don’t agree that everyone is able to give their own interpretations because many of us don’t have the knowledge or haven’t studied for a long time to be able to interpret ayahs and hadiths yourself, but I like that you’re showing others more to Muslim women ✨*

Everyone is able to give their own interpretation of anything. Gender inequality for instance is prevalent in most religions, but many people omit it from their religious teachings and lifestyles.

I think you are right. Some people studdy the quran and hadeeth of our prophet as for years to understand what it means. You can't just interpretate everything for whats suits you the best. Again do not learn from people who have no knowledge Salaam aleykum wa ragmatullahi wa barakaatu
Loved every second if this, esp the discussion scene!
I'm enjoying this!! Big time!! Thanks for sharing.
Powerful messages and examples of overcoming obstacles for women of all faiths and cultures. Your work and approach to the world is inspiring, Dina and Sid!
This is sooooooo lovely and comfy .. Everyone there thank you so much♥️
Thank you so much Dina for being such an inspiration to Muslim girls who've never really had an online figure to look up to and say "That's who I want to be like". May God answer your prayers and protect you and your family.

What was new in this? Turn to the Amazing women with the Prophet Sallaahu Alaihi Wa Salaam. They were millenium x10 ahead of women trying to prove a point by wearing a hijab and assimilate. Sorry you just dummies down Muslim women from the honourable trail blazers you should have showcased. Sounds like impressing two white men was really to make you feel good. Ask yourself why you had to be in the.shots and who you really showcased. KZread fail.
Really appreciate this. Thank you!
I really loved this series dina....its true how closed off Muslims are towards each other. it's also great to see how supportive sid is towards your career not to take credit away from your amazingness or anything but I really hope young men can see him as an example as to how to treat your wife and not use religion or culture to hold them back from great opportunities. because majority of the time even now women forgo their careers, hobbies, lifestyle just to please their husbands and it's really sad because seeing these women and you it shows how much Muslim women can contribute to society and how much they're needed

PietreADI Unfortunately your never been in Islamic countries and your listing to the propaganda against Islam about homosexual is normal practice but I'm against homosexual so I hope in my country to be changed the law to punish these people. Adultery prohibited in Islam and about female right it's a joke cuz in my opinion the woman has equal rights to man in the law but actually they have more power

PietreADI There's no evidence in Islam for stoning to death it's came from Christianity and Judaism unfortunately a lot of Muslims believe it but they're wrong and about Sahih Al Bukhari was written after death of prophet Mohamed more than 200 years so I don't believe in Hadith

i respect the message of this documentary and love that this is being discussed, my only critique is that i wish that there were a wider range of muslimahs. in regards to race. As an African American muslim, im so used to people that look like me being left out not only Western media but Muslim communities as well. We,re here. We exist. and out stories and experiences are just as valid as any other type of muslim. So many Black muslims especially hiijabis, grow up feeling like theyre not accepted and feel like they dont belong and the only way we can correct this is by acknowledging that theres a problem and holding ourselves and each other accountable
Best video so far! Loved it!
This was soooo cool!!! ❤️❤️❤️more more more. Man what amazing women you spoke to ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely adore this series. I love what you stand for Dina, inspiring how open minding you are. Lots of love.
This documentary was so good. I'm not a muslim but I support the idea of modesty. I can see how this can be inspiring and uplifting to muslim girls/women . Nice work Dina!

Why exactly am I just watching this? I love it! Oh and I love you Dina. This video has really just solidified my dreams and goals to make 'the scarf life' easy for as many people as I can.
dina your personality is perfect for this series
@SidandDina people’s interpretations are so different on all kinds of subjects and religion is no exception, I know people in the catholic faith that don’t eat apples because they think it’s the forbidden fruit. You remind me of my best friend Dina, I laughed my hardest, cried and found comfort in her company and shared secrets knowing I could trust her without asking her not to share what I had told her. We had a unique friendship, we could be in a room full of people and only her and I would be rolling over with laughter at something that know ones else thought was funny or understood. My dear sweet friendJanet past away taking my secrets and a piece of my heart with her, I miss her everyday until we meet again. I can imagine you to have that same kind of friendship with people Dina. I love what your doing not only for the hijab and muslim women but for women in general. Thank you for speaking your truth, it gives others the strength to do the same. ❤️ Margaret

I was having a chat today with someone at work people have a go at Women who wear the hijab but they wouldn't dream of having a go at a nun makes no sense to me
@samattwell2552
6 жыл бұрын
Mara N by saying have a go I mean they will laugh and take the Mick out of someone. I'm comparing the fact that nuns cover their hair the same as some Muslim women do. The people who say horrible things to Muslim women would never say the same thing if they past a nun in the street. I'm really saying that people shouldn't judge other people by what they wear but how they act you're a nice person I'll get along with you I don't care what someone looks like or what they wear

Dina you are such a inspiration. I love watching your video's. Even tho i am not muslim i am taking a positive energy and lots of good tips from you to be a good person. At the end of the day we are all humans not matter of skin tone or religion. Love ya 😘😘
Amazing video this was very informative :)
You're such an inspiration Dina! May Allah continue to bless you and your family.
I was so happy to hear y'all address Jewish and Christian headcovering, even momentarily. In the West, Christian headcovering is really uncommon, but I'd love to go someplace where you couldn't tell the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian women apart.
Amazing project please make a part 2
This was so nice to watch. I wish more projects like these get done, so more people can hear about the truth, rather than what thy think is the truth based on their prejudices.
This is an amazing project
This is amazing ❤️
Love, loved, loved this! Keep them coming, Dina! And Dalia should have a sportswear clothing line, I'd buy it...!!!
LOVED LOVED LOVED IT DINA
I love this so much. Thank you.
U r amazing Dina I can't believe I didn't watch this sooner
Thanks this was very encouraging widely and inspirational and very much hopeful to us Muslim girls. Especially trying to change the stereotypes in this time of life.
I find these kind of videos so fascinating. I'm a Christian and I adore learning about other religions despite growing up Baptist and being told that even reading about other religious ways of thinking is wrong and disrespectful to my religion. I don't agree at all, I think it's rediculouse. I love learning about how others think so that I can better understand why they do what they do and I often end up respecting people even more when I'm able to learn why they do what they do. I'd love it if you did more videos like this. God bless ❤
I'm quite lucky to live in a place where being Muslim isn't uncommon so i really admire all those muslim women in the western countries where the media is very anti-muslim

Ganeefah S Just an FYI... I live in Canada and I see Muslims ALL around me everyday. Families big and small live in the city that I'm from. We accepted 2500 refugees in this small city of 300,000 and many more all over the country of Canada. Keep in mind we have always had a Muslim population in this country. Our media is NOT anti-Muslim and if you want to get technical someone who is Muslim in this country is more likely to be given special treatment than someone of a different culture or faith. In fact, it is illegal and considered a hate crime to discriminate or harass ANYONE, including Muslims. So please, before you talk about Muslim women in the west or how the media or anyone else treats them, be specific on where you speak of. I personally think any mainstream media is not a smart way to go regardless of the network or country. The ONLY reason I choose to comment on this is because in Canada I do NOT see what you speak of. Are there people who are uneducated on the topic and even weary and or ignorant, yes! But you will find that no matter where you go. Just as Dina has described in the few videos of hers that I have seen.

K T seeing as i didn't mention a specific country, i have no idea why you're seeming to be so defensive? It's obviously not all countries in the west. If canada is nice then good for you, but it's true that western media is sometimes anti-islamic. Relax

Jack Smith Seriously? Would you say Western Countries like the United States, GB, Sweden, The Netherlands and France are very sympathetic to Muslims? Maybe you should watch the news more.
@batuffolinitutti4345
6 жыл бұрын
6CrowsandAngelsWeeping, yea the media in those countries is extremely sympathetic to muslims. immigrants are good for economy so they want everyone to ignore problems and just get along. However, many of the PEOPLE in those countries aren't positive about msulims, because they're afraid that if too many muslims come, they'll get treated like religious minorities in muslim countries get treated. And it's a legitimate fear. Tolerance has to go both ways. Why would people by sympathetic to another group who are not sympathetic towards them?

the purpose of a hijab is to not attract the opposite sex, sid is right about the way of dressing, islamicly we, including myself, do not dress the way our religion teaches us, but we do it anyway because of the society we have grown up in. we interpret haram clothing and turn it 'halal'. the point im trying to make is that dina should do some research and find out the true meaning of hijab because as well it is for the reasons she stated, it also has other purposes that she should take into account.
