It’s amazing how many people have moved out of the city over the last 30 years.. from 1930 to the early 80s Youngstown had a population of 160,000 plus!! Now it down to almost 59,000! Hmmm

There is very little left of these old neighborhoods. Like Niagara Falls NY, Youngstown OH has been demolishing old buildings and abandoned houses by the block. Both cities have lost most of their industry and over half their population.

Whenever I watch videos like this, I can't stop visualizing how these areas must have looked 60 or 70 years ago.

Reminds me entirely too much of McKeesport and Clairton, PA.

I’m from Campbell Ohio . Grew up on the east side of Youngstown. The two cities touch each other but in my town you can literally go from the projects all the way up to million dollar homes within a 4 miles diameter it’s crazy out here we were the murder capital of the world for time defending champ. We have it on T-shirts they call it CRIMETOWN, USA bomb town, USA, etc. I heard it all .!!you should do my town it touches the east side .now we have these private little streets, cul-de-sacs with new homes on them, 😢and they just renamed them .but they’re still in Campbell sooner or later I’ll do my video and send it in to you ?
