I don't really care for the program but I'm VERY impressed with her technical content, especially for it to be July. The fact she's going for a 3A in the SP and FS as well as the 4S in the FS is a huge plus. Hopefully she'll compete more over the summer and get comfortable with attempting the jumps in competition. It'll be an uphill battle to get past the Russians and the favoritism a lot of them receive from the judges but with content like this she will FORCE the judges to take her seriously and put her in the mix.

유영 선수 정말 잘하네요.... 스텝 초반에 넣고 후반에 점프들 몰아 넣는거 보면 체력이 정말 대단한 것 같아요. 안무야 아무래도 아직 시즌까지 좀 남아서 비어보이는 부분들이 좀 있긴한데 ㅜ 유영 선수 프로그램 항상 곡 편집이 아쉽습니다...ㅜㅡㅜ

Really proud of You. She has clearly been working really hard to heighten the technical difficulty in her repertoire. I hope the judges start taking her seriously. I am honestly so sick of the blatant favoritism towards anyone on Team Tutberidze. As for the program, I am sure that it will get better as the season progresses since it is still brand new. Anywhoo, I wish her luck 🙂

Her performance, interpretation, skating skills and posture pale in comparison to Yuna. She shouldn’t have chosen this music.

@@evanperilstein5308 To be fair, Yuna Kim wasn't just 16 when she did Les Miz - she was already past her teens and was a full, mature, adult woman who had preparation and experience. Young has a ways to go, certainly, but she did make it to the US to get to an actual ice rink that's of good quality than in South Korea. Let's hope that her coaches and choreographers come up with a good training regimen for her towards this season.

굉장히 공격적으로 점프구성을 넣은 것 같네요. 첫점프가 4s? ㅎㄷㄷ하네요. 두번째가 3a. 근데 개인적으로 음악편집이 산만한 느낌이라 선수의 연기를 집중하는데 뭔가 몰입이 안되네요. 좀더 스토리적으로 탄탄하게 음악이 편집이 되었으면하는 아쉬움이...

@@nenavujicin7882 Young may have a 3A, but her quad was under-rotated, so no, it wasn't really a "quad". She has long set-ups to the 3A and into her 4S, unlike Yuna who would easily fly and glide before and after her jumps. Technically, Young is still weaker than her idol, and needs to work hard on all her elements, including the PCS, because no way she's reaching the Russian women or Rika at this rate.

Yeah, underrotations are called out way more often than prerotation (that are actually never called out). Anyway, it's just the beginning of the season, we'll see where it goes. Maybe she's just being over cautious so far.
