If you plan to make one get it professionally done or you will most likely have a difficult time getting insurance. I sell insurance in Colorado and I don't know of any company that will insure converted campers that aren't done professionally.

This is amazing - I'm still trying to reconcile the nearly stock exterior that you see on the road everywhere with the cool and functional camper build inside. It's brilliant work, kudos to you and your dad.

That is awesome...surprised at what you were about to include..bed, kitchen, shower, toilet and fridge. Very doable.

It's like living in a coffin. No place to stand up. No way to get away from bugs. Good for a weekend maybe, not practical in the long run as the only shelter you have.

Yes it looks inviting to live in a truck and have no real bills but we will have an even better life coming and it will last forever.. No more struggling as we do in this crazy world.

Chris Huynh Vancouver Island is! Rains for 60% of the year, lots of bear & mountain lion but no small game for hunting. It’s a wet, dense nightmare. Granted she has all of her supplies. The people on TV can only take 10 or 15 items with them as part of the challenge. Still one hell of a place to camp though.

I haven't seen many camper builds in a truck bed, but this is awesome! You really made great use of such a small space. I admire you for living your best life!

I LOVE this build. The simplicity. The practicality. And the wisdom behind it. Thank you so much for spurring me on.

FLORB More and more people are getting fed up with Renting - weather it’s the Forever Increasing high rents ( BECAUSE OF the Forever Increasing High Taxes ) or because they WANT TO OWN their own home - or BOTH. As I’ve been researching being COMPLETELY OFF GRID, I discovered the Mobile Home Community and now the TINY TRAILER HOME. I sooo, love it! We weren’t meant to be ENSLAVED - we’re meant to be ABSOLUTELY FREE! Stationary Homes are OVER PRICED AND OVER VALUED. The property tax and assessments need to go. If someone wants to sell their home, let them do it in a FREE MARKET SYSTEM. I’m tiired of all the Homelessness, Despair and Poverty that the Left causes 😢❤️🙏🏼🔥🇨🇦🇮🇱🇺🇸🇬🇧🇮🇪🇻🇪 As Chrome from Vancity Vanlife says “ Weirdos Unite “ Yes, asserting Our Individuality will be weird to the Collective - then, so be it ☺️❤️ Have FUN with your Freedom! Best truck home I've seen and seriously, I watch every tiny home build regardless of the vehicle. Brilliant build!!

Makes me really miss my dad, I've been thinking about him as I struggle to get my rig together (and three able-bodied men can't figure out how to lift a hundred twenty pound rooftop tent). They don't make men like they used to. I miss you Dad.

im 51 wife dying of cancer i want to be able to travel and not stay in hotels to nasty some are and expensive. so i started watching videos like yours and its the coolest thing to convert bed truck space into tiny home. now i am doing that. bought my truck bought a camper shell now doing my tiny truck house build for the first time in my life. your set up is so cool. and others i have watched are really cool. never thought a truck like ford f150 can be turned into home. i am so looking forward into this. your so cool. thanks for your video.

This is so me....i am an operating engineer, and my daughter will be graduating high school in 2 years.....so I am ready for this lifestyle.....lucky for me I have had a great job for 26 years and love it so much!.....i can go work in any state at any time.....i am tired of being under the thumb of everybody.....i have to bend around everyone else and I'm done with it....NO MORE BILLS!.....so I have 2 years to make a build and I'm ready and welcome it....this vid is very ingenious build....all that in that little space.....i have 4 dogs (3 very little ones) a cat and a bird.......and yes they will go with me......so I have to keep them in mind when I do my build and I think I'm leaning toward a small school butts or shuttle bus
