Young students learn to knit warm scarves for the homeless
Grade 3 students at St. Charles Elementary learned to knit and are making scarves for the homeless population.

That is Super Sweet....but people who are homeless need money not strange scarves! I think it is great that they are learning to knit but best to give the scarves to their parents to show off....and use any money they would have spent on wool to give to someone on the street.
It sounds like a sweatshop. As if school wasn't difficult enough.
