Going to a Powwow Is to visit our elders through song. This Young spirit song gets my spirit active. I love traditional fancy dance' men and woman competition's. And to hear and feel the war cry song, because we are at war now in this country, a culture war, war against religion.. And to sit in the ceremonial Circle while the the eagle song lifts us and cleanses us while sage and sweet grass burns To bless us for future travels I love my native people, I respect my native people, Because without the Native people... We would not be. Chi-miigwech for the culture, I will bless the four winds with some tobacco for my Uncle David Kline and my Native friends I've Lost through time's past..waanakiiwin an.
