On Monday 4th September, the Young Chef Young Waiter Cayman Island finalists teamed up at The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman for a one-day final supported by Title Partner The Watermark Grand Cayman in their support of upholding the hospitality sector in the Cayman Islands and nurturing the next generation of hospitality professionals.
The winners of the Young Chef Young Waiter Cayman Island 2023 were, Chef Sebastian Amaya from The Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman and Waiter Rosie Mckitrick from Agua Restaurant. These two amazing talents will be heading to Monaco on the 23-24th November 2023, to compete in the WorldYCYW Finals. The WYCYW finals will be taking place in Monaco at the iconic Lycée Rainer lll where the winners will walk away with a cash prize of £10,000.
