@@itsminxy_ no, that's not the issue. The size isn't the issue, it's the shape and how it works with her frame. I'm skinnier than her by a mile and know to stay away from anything that cuts off the shoulders or makes her look boxed in.

I must admit that if I was prepared to fork over 2,000 pounds for my daughter's dress, I'd find it very, very hard to keep my mouth closed. I know I'd have to, but I'd be biting my tongue constantly. I also must admit that I am surprised at the number of brides - and not just young ones like this one, but women in their late 20s - whose parents are paying for the dress.

This obviously implies that I'd be supportive, and keep my mouth shut. However, even a gift can come with strings attached, and the sooner these brides realise it and face facts, the better for them. Additionally, a lot of these brides need someone to tell them that although they might love the dress, they look ridiculous. It's possibly the train wreck effect that is the appeal of some - not all - of this type of programme. Additionally,it would be interesting to know how many brides actually wear the dress t they select.

I don't know WHY I watch these! I end up screaming at the screen....." but its NOT your wedding!!!!!" I'm a mother too and I have NO vision of what my kids will get married in, if they'll get married or even have kids. Its not my place to tell my ADULT kids what I WANT THEM TO DO! If they ask for advice or opinion ill give it but I'm HAPPY if THEY ARE HAPPY! #selfishmums

Why is nobody talking about how much relaxing her voice is?

I dont like it. I am so tired of seeing these moms overtaking the appointment with what they want. It kills me.. these mother's already had their wedding and chose their dresses. I hate that they sway the bride from the vision she has. I went dress shopping with my mom and sister and showed them the dress I loved. They saw how happy I was and they loved that but not the dress. Which sucked bad. Then they picked a dress for me the exact opposite of what I was wanting. I put it on and they both started crying talking about how beautiful and look at your waiste and shape. Ya it was nice and looked pretty. But wasn't what I wanted or loved. I didn't get anything. I wanted moms approval and didn't get it But I didn't give in either.. Still looking

That's why I made two appointments. One for my mom and mother in law and a second with my sister and friends who would not overtake the appointment with what they like. Worked out. Let my mom picture me in dresses as well as my mother in law, and chose the one I loved with my friends. She had no room to say no. Bahahaha

I feel so bad for you... Get the one you love. When I went dress shopping, i found the perfect dress. I had my mom, my grandma, my best friend, and my best friends mom with me. When I put on the dress and said this is the one, everyone agreed with me that they thought it was perfect. My husband who doesn't even like red (the dress had red incorporated into it in the sash and design) was a little deflated when I told him red and white was the color scheme. After he saw me, he told me it was the prettiest dress hed ever seen and that I looked absolutely stunning. Get what you want because it's your wedding!

I am just annoyed when moms are like: "yeah yeah I know what you like" and they overrule the bride- like no, you know what YOU like, you had your day already now be quiet and let the bride pick what SHE likes and feels comfortable and confident in.

No. 1 is overwhelming on her No. 2 is "frumpy" No. 3. isn't bad.. But she "caved" to her mom's wishes.

This is ridiculous I can’t believe people actually get up there and let other people sway their choice on their wedding day. It’s why I went by myself pick up my dress in 30 minutes and had an amazing coordinator to help me out. I felt like a princess in my dress. ❤️

She has an absolutely beautiful face. But it's interesting that she's one of those people who simply doesn't wear clothes well. It may be her youth, and that she simply lacks confidence.

She’s so so cute! She speaks so softly as well. I wish her marriage well.

Each to he's own. Everyone has their own time. I'm 21 and getting married in a few months and I couldn't be happier. But it's not for everyone 🤗

The people who are concerned about her getting married at 19 are exactly what is making this poor woman feel so insecure and wanting to look older, it's not your business. I was married at 24 and my SIL was married at 30, we both had ball gowns so I personally don't feel they look young or immature. My advice to any bride reading this would be to try every style before you rule something out.

I was married at 19 and my Mother's opinion was very important to me. It was a big step in my life and her support was invaluable if not frustrating at times. She passed away not long after my wedding and I miss the times we had together. This just brought back fond memories. And the dress looks amazing! 🙏❤️

My mother also got married at 19, and she has been married to my father for 42 years now. I got married at 21, and 8 years later we are still madly in love with each other.

Its because she knows she dont have a voice or knows how to set boundaries & cant speak up for herself, probably cause her family is crazy n overbearing n will abuse her in any way they can if she doesnt obey them. Its not cute. Its sad. Ik cause I have the same voice n same family. People who are quiet like this were probably abused n shut down. Cause nobody else talks like this especially when it comes to speaking up for themselves. I saw an adult young man and his mom at the store recently n he was quieter talking to her about choices on something n she wouldnt listen to him on his opinion which I knew he was right based on what he said, but she still did the opposite.

The dress she picked looked beautiful on her..especially after they added the sparkly belt

I felt the same.. she met her mom in the middle without giving up too much of her vision of the perfect dress.

It might be her makeup or something but I was surprised to hear that she was only nineteen, I would have guessed 25-30. Honestly I don’t think she needs a certain dress to look older
