Absolutely breathtaking. love the art, love the style, love the band name, love the fresh approach to crusty blackmetal. So very different yet so very classic. This album is absolutely everything id want from a band. well done.

I remember seeing these guys back in '09 one of the most crushing performances I've seen in my life. I broke my fist moshing along to the singer's incapacitating stage presence. Wish I could experience the auditory terrorism that is Young and In the way one more time before I go on to the great beyond and die.

I like how possibly misleading it is. I remember seeing them headlining for a diff band and I just assumed they were some hardcore pop punk or scene shit lmao They’re still “hardcore” at the core though, so that’s most likely why

The end of the first track reminds of something out of the soundtrack to Twin Peaks and I love it because of that.

listening to this with the today show on in the background makes me feel like im doing something right.

Wow that was good! Reminds me a little of Craft. The band name + cover art was a bit confusing though, I was expecting some kind of pretty modern crust/trash/hardcore cross-over stuff... this is way better actually :D

+Lise90 It reminds me a lot of early Mayhem and Darkthrone in particular - the raw sound of early black metal had a lot more hardcore in it than Euronymous probably would have liked to admit. When Life Comes To Death gives me the same feeling I got when I heard Deathcrush for the first time.

Last time I listened to this I couldn't get into it, despite the brilliant name and cover art. I think tonight I'm just in the right mood! Definitely growing on me.

Music usually doesn’t work that way. For example I’ve listened to darkthrone hundreds of times over the years and I’ve been able to enjoy it maybe about 10% of the time. This is despite loving most traditional black metal.

Came for the Buck knife.. stayed for the jams.

It's an extremely simple riff, there's bound to be similarities to other black metal songs.

NC has always held it down in the metal scene. Glad to see things haven't changed. Double thumbs up if I could, but I'm sure I'd have to let Google steal more of my data...F this life.

Good to see an NC band get the respect they deserve.
