my driving test got cancelled for the queens funeral, got given a date for December that was too far so I'm glad I found a cancellation for October. I'm so nervous but excited

Driving examiners do not tend to tell you which lane to get into unless there is a special reason based on subsequent junctions which you would not know about because you do not know the planned route. They do sometimes hint that you are in the wrong lane by saying "follow the road ahead" which is often a euphemism for "you are in the wrong lane".

@@LewisLivingLife try to drive near the area of your driving test centre and get familiar with the road, roundabouts, junctions, etc

Jeez I feel so nervous... I have my test in 10 days and I have no clue how will I react when I'll be in the same car with the examiner. Still, your videos helped me a lot during my lesson and they really teached me about how to avoid doing the mistakes I was doing previously. Thank you so much. I really wished to have a mock test with you but unfortunately I live in East Midlands. Good luck!

I'm learning to drive after 15 years when I first had lessons. I'm almost 39 years old and at about 35 hours in now and as I live in the UK I'm driving a manual transmission. I've had three different instructors (had bad experiences with two) until finally settling with one I'm comfortable with. He's the world driving guy (KZread) who is very good, encouraging and patient. My first instructor talked way too much and didn't let me drive enough. The second guy let me drive for the entire time but instruction was poor, too laid back and half the time he was texting on his phone (which I hear is illegal!). Anyway, even so I feel I'm still not at the level I should be at this point and I can't help but feel embarrassed about it. Passed my theory at least but still making too many serious mistakes out on the road with my instructor having to intervene still. Perhaps it's because I've had to go through these three different instructors. I tend to get annoyed if I make a mistake or two and then it snowballs into a multitude of errors, some serious. I'm not sure I could even do a mock test as there'll be too many faults. It is frustrating as I do look forward to each lesson and I do like driving which is why I think I'm upset I'm not doing better.

Failed recently with 1 serious cos I was following the satnav on a 4 lane roundabout, was in left going right and I panicked and went across Also got 1 serious because I misjudged someone's flashing lights so he had to slam on 😭 Only had 2 minors aswell was gutted

Worst part is that it was intensive course after my instructor for over a year decided to shut the business, so need to do it again and re-learn a new car It's been a nightmare genuinely don't think I'm ever gonna pass at this rate 😭
