If I was ever to have my car worked on by someone other than me you’d be the mechanic I’d trust. Keep up the great work.

Wife bought a 2.0 Diesel version (2020) and its been faultless. Lovely place to be on a drive. She does spend most of the time motorway cruising from East Lancs to West Yorkshire. Peugeot seem to be making some good looking cars. Shame the Puretech has a wet belt. Only thing that puts me off.

I change the oil in my MANUAL gearbox and it makes the shifts better. I just can't understand people who think that the oils will go forever!

most makers say its a life time fill and in normal service never needs changed

I changed mine at 50 k miles,came out black! Made a huge difference with new oil in,much better gear changes

Thanks to my mate baz for doing the gearbox oil change on my 508 its a different car now and i agree with you mate it does need bigger wheels so i am looking for some nice ones witch will not spoil the car

Great job Baz. They definitely seem very sensitive to oil changes, a mate of mine had similar and was like a different car afterwards (his words).

Some of the dsg gearboxs don't have filters and the Metatronic unit have its own oil and no filter

They really are very good looking cars, inside and out, pitty it's a pug though

There is a filter. It's inside the gearbox tho so it's not a service item, but there is one.

Yer - change the oil have your dinner - do a couple of services and it MIGHT be up to temp !!! 1st job of the day in winter and it might be warm by 2pm !!LOL 🙄👍

Is that a torque converter or DSG type transmission?

Hi Baz. Love your videos and your level of detail. I have a Zafira 1.7diesel reg. DU63ASO, 6speed manual , can you tell me where the transmission level plug is ? I've searched high and low with no luck. Cars done 128k miles and it's getting a bit noisy , or does the engine oil do the transmission too ? Engine oil is dexus2.

its a m32 box , if you search online you will find it. they are only rain and refil, people overfill to 3l. if noisy it will need a rebuild

How do you get the launch professional database? Is that something you have to pay extra for? I recently got myself a launch pad vii but did not see this function

Typical Asian warner oil change to sort issues. Did u have to add xx ml of oil after the oil stopped dripping from the level tube?
