Back in 1968 right after I got my learners permit. A bunch of friends and I would drive out there at high speed as we didn't have a speed limit. They had a little bar there and slot machines with a few friendly ladies. It was a place where you didn't want any troubles. A buddy of mine found this out on his own.

i used to stop there in the 60's to get water for my canvas water bag to put in front of my radiator. You had to be in the 60's to know what I am talking about.

Holy shit, I'm all the way across the country here in Massachusetts and I've been there before! My father was a long haul trucker after being a professional welder for many years. I spent alot of my childhood in a ol White Freightliner Cab-Over and remember stoping there in the late 80's. I had completely forgotten about it until year's later driving out there once again, but this time I was in the military and driving myself and it was around '03-ish if my memory serves me correctly. I'm almost a little sad now to think that part of my past is now destroyed, but at least it's you doing it and not some "Not so American" assholes doing it for a fast buck or to level and make condo's or a super mall..

I am in construction, but we're I live in Oregon we would have built contament tents around everything,have everything inspected first and hope the wind is below 25mph otherwise no demo.. So we basically can't do anything thing here. Heading to Vegas in March, hoping to see your shop.

Right at the end of the video but I agree I should have held it up. The sign was individual letters, MOBILE, all were there. Lots of oil cans, structural steel, fencing, etc. .. Loved the little cabin. I'm cleaning it up and moving it up on the mountain. Thanks for watching Brett!

Crazy. I've been there before. In 78,79 my Dad took a job at the prison in Jean, NV . We rented a travel trailer right across the tracks from the prison. He would take me to that diner sometimes. I went to school in Goodsprings. Got to ride my YZ 80 all over that part of the desert. 55 and in Camas WA now. Fishing much better here.
