Cody, you are a real Southern gentleman. Good man, too! Texas terrain diversity is amazing. I hiked Terlingua in the 80s. My favorite hikes and bass fishing was in the Hill Country. Enchanted Rock is an incredible hike and there's great history involving the rock. Kellie, you should have your own show on the Food Network! Great video, guys!

Awesome rock scramble to the top of Emory Peak, huh! It’s a great hike, but Cody did misspeak at the top. Emory is not the tallest peak in Texas. In fact, it’s the 14th tallest peak. If you want to hike the 8k+ peaks in Texas, travel to Guadalupe Mountains National Park, as mentioned in previous comment. You can overnight at the Visitor Center parking lot.

Great hike!!! Wonderful filming. You MUST do the tallest peak in Texas (we did a few years ago)--check out Guadalupe Peak. We see it every day from our home in Carlsbad NM. Sunsets are amazing!!!
