We owned Arabians for 25 years. The most I paid was $5,000.00 - and she was a beauty. The Arabian is absolutely the most beautiful breed. They move as if they are floating on air. They are friendly, smart, and are known as easy keepers. Mine are all gone now- last mare passed about 15 years ago and she was 30 years old and still beautiful. Wonderful gorgeous horses!

My Arabian mare just turned 30 years old back in February. Looking at her, you'd never know she's that old, she's still gets around like a yearling and she hasn't lost a pound, thank God. I love Sarahn, I have had her for 24 years and I'll have her until the day she dies. They really are amazing horses!

I have multiple Arabians, these prices are for champion horses, not regular ones.

Known Pets lmao I’ve gotten several horses like QH and Arabs for anywhere from free to 4000 nice horses with great confirmation too. The Price range is all over the place with horses.

Yes, it was 30 years ago, but I paid $750 for a purebred Arabian gelding with a Arabic brand under his mane. You can get a nice horse of almost any breed for a reasonable price.

These prices are hardly accurate if you’re looking for a horse for anything but racing. While Arabians are more costly than a Morgan or thoroughbred, you can get one for anywhere under 10k

Exactly, I was about to comment the samething. I have seen Arabians for $6,000 and little less. The price will increase significantly based on the pedigree of the horse, but you can definitely own one for less than $10,000.

Here in England, it is also very emotionally rewarding to save some of them from the slaughter houses. They are usually loyal, friendly ,brave, expressive, yet peaceful and loving spiritual beings. It is not always about the money....

The greatest horse I ever owned coet me $400...$ 4 0 0. He was by Strike and out of a Tornado granddaughter and lived to be 32. I have one now who cost me $1k and the other two were free. All purebred. Arabians are NOT expensive and are the healthiest breed so they won't break your bank inversions bills. Greatest horses in the world!

I worked at an Arabian horse stable once. The owners shared a mare with two other owners....this owner paid $24, 000 as their cut to share her with the others. Then, as this was a mare breeding stable, one of the mares gave birth to colt. When this colt was barely a week old a buyer offered the owners a million dollars....they refused the offer. Saying they were going to send him to the stud stables and use him as a breeding stud.

People who are expecting to pay 5 figures for an Arabian will not be taking advice from KZread!! My England born yearling filly cost me £1500 in 1997, she was 25% El Shaklan and her dam's sire was world champion Edykt. She had pretty good confirmation and spectacular action. My Spain born Borneo daughter (bought as a foal in 2012) cost me less than her sire's stud fee as Spain had a financial crisis and horses were not selling at the time. She has a stunning head, so so confirmation but top class bloodlines. You can buy a good Arabian for a reasonable price, especially if you are buying a youngster. Why would anyone want any other breed?

If prices on Arabian are that high then how come they end up going to the kill pens. There was two young mares that was in the kill pen 10 years ago one had Arabian foal one was going to foal she lost her baby the other one her and her foal wasn't there. So if you want a Arabian horse check there first.

This is very misleading. You can purchase high quality arabian horses at a variety of prices. Most of the high sold horses were purchased back in the 70s when people could use horses as tax write offs. Nowadays you can buy horses at a lot more reasonable costs. Are there still horses that sell for this high? Yes. But the average cost of an Arabian is much lower than six figures.

Bransby horse sanctuary rescued 5 Arabian mares. All were in terrible condition. They were given names such as Peridot, Diamond, Sapphire,Emerald and Tanzanite. Emerald had to stay at the sanctuary because of complications associated with her extreme emaciation-she was left with more fragile bones and digestive issues. Peridot, Diamond, Sapphire, and Tanzanite all went to homes with owners who had knowledge of the Arabian breed. Welfare sanctuaries do sometimes get pedigrees as welfare cases who need experienced homes. If you're the right person, prepared to do the work and build a relationship with the horse; you MAYBE chosen to rehome one of them. The fees vary depending on what you're looking for. A companion horse/pony is £50 whereas a riding horse could be £400. Even if they don't have the type you are looking for, they can put you on a waiting list and contact you when something a little more suitable comes up for rehoming.

So many ridiculous inaccuracies in this video. The average price of an Arabian horse is nowhere near $100K!!! There is no roan in the Arab breed, either 🙄 They come in grey, bay, black, & chestnut (including sabino & rabicano). Grey is the most common, & black is the least common.

@@knownpets One is a breeding issue with very narrow noses that can cause breathing problems . Baby oil is used to get the dark points like nose and eyes stand out , but when to much is used it looks ugly . Arabians are the most beautiful and don't need " improvement "
