I never keep up with stuff like that so any time I check in because I want a change or new information I always think “damn that’s a lot of new stuff”

I definitely do not need or want new skincare but I’ll go along for the ride. Watching vids like this helps me to not buy once I see it in person. 👍🏽

I am seeing more and more beauty and skin vloggers whose intent is to stop getting people to buy everything and instead focuses on decluttering, avoiding redundancy, price per ounce, and overall minimalism. Re using makeup we own already, trying new looks, etc. All great things! People need to stop spending half their income on skin care. It’s a real addiction.

I love you extra for talking about feverfew allergies!!! I’m allergic to it and hate when I see it in so many products that say for sensitive skin!

Byoma is supposed to stock refillables for their products soon which is why their bottles are sturdy and reusable. I honestly hate having to order my skincare products online and prefer to buy in store whenever possible so if they do end up offering refills I will definitely check them out.

I personally like the new skin care lines coming out as kid I didn’t have very many option. For a long time all you could get was salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide and a lot of those products had scents to them which I never knew could also irritate my skin. I appreciate Dr.Dray because she is helping me with my skin. I’m an adult now but it would have been nice to have someone like this when I was a kid because my family couldn’t afford to see a dermatologist for a long time.

Dr Dray, thank you so much for another great video, I found myself now stopping by skin care section at stores and looking at ingredients. I am still learning them, but its fun:).

I ADORE the packaging of those Byoma products! Would love for you to review them at some point!

I absolutely love the Versed cleansing balm! I’ve tried MANY! It is scented but doesn’t bother me. Not sure how it would do on oily skin though, probably too heavy. I’m 51 with desert dry skin. As a first cleanse, it’s great at breaking down make up without feeling stripped. I’m always interested in trying new ones but end up back to Versed every time.

Time to ROAST the skin care isle at Target with Dr Dray…. my favorite KZread pass time.

This is so funny and I have to just admit it because I can’t stop thinking about it. I used to hate your videos. And the more I watch your videos now the more I realize the only reason I hated your videos in the past years was because I was obsessed with my over consuming. I’m still pretty deep into skin care but your videos are really teaching me to par down on what I use and keep things more simple. I use a sunscreen mist only to refresh my sunscreen over makeup, like if I'm about to head out on my evening commute from work (back when I wasn't at home all the time). Ulta makes a decent one that they call a "setting spray" and it's similar to ones made by Coola and Supergoop, but it's a fraction of the cost.

Yesterday I wanted to buy new skincare products and I was reading the labels of each one of them like if I had a clue of the ingredients 🤣🤣🤣. I just wanted Dr Dray next to me explaining if they were worthy 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Also, Byoma is a uk brand, and it’s nice that they’re finally making it stateside! I love the brand.

I am ready for morning face mist recommendations! I dislike washing my face in the morning.

Some Targets in Minnesota have gotten an Ulta area in store where they carry select Oridinary products.

I am from lapland. In our family for skincare we use alot of sunscreen because we are so fair. Shea butter, baby oil and Vaseline. It's works great for everyone in my family.

People really sleep on Polyhydroxy Acid. BHA is too rough on my skin and AHAs doesn't really do much for me. Maybe I'm imagining it but I started experimenting with PHA and my skin has been glowing. The CosRX Good Night Soft Peeling Gel is the truth 🙌

Versed “Gentle Milky Cleanser” with oat, in a pump bottle has been my new favorite cleanser! Especially during these harsh winter months for my extremely dry, sensitive skin. It’s a must try from that line. I wasn’t impressed with the rest of the line though. I had problems using the Aveeno Calm line because of the feverfew, so this milky oat one has been the perfect substitute for it.

Bioderma cleansing oil is my one true love!! 💕 I did not know that huge bottle was available. I’m going for it!

19:00 the press jar explanation is so funny because skin fix's peptide barrier+ cream cones in that jar... As does the Marianne organics collagen cream from Amazon. Those jars have been around 🤣 it's just funny they are acting like it's groundbreaking. BUT they can be annoying if you can't open them to get the last bit. You'll be pressing for a while to just get a spittle amount out.

Hi Dr. Dray, I use the Timeless Vit C w feurlic acid and Vit E. In one of your videos you mentioned using a gently AHA cleanser prior to the Vit C serum to help with the Ph. I’m not sure I understand that completely but I’ll take your world for it. Can you please make a couple of recommendations for an AHA cleanser ? Paula’s Choice has an 8 % AHA EXFOLIANT GEL. not sure if it has to be a face cleanser. I don’t generally wash face in the am. I have mature skin, I use tretenoin at night and Vit C serum a few mornings a week. Thank you. Love your videos and including us “wiser” folks~

The versed retinol body cream I find that it has a similar texture, when rubbing it in, as the necessaire body lotion, but thicker. It gets absorbed pretty quick for me

Thoughts on the Native sunscreen?? I'm using it now. I don't seem to have problems but wondering if you think it's a good sunscreen????

I bought the Bare Republic SPF 100 with me on my vacation to Cancun and it did a great job keeping my super pale skin burn free!

Versed cleansing balm is one of my favorites. It didn’t burn my eyes and worked great.

the ordinary will be at target when they open an ulta in specific stores. they have the products they are just in the backroom til ulta opens.

I just picked up the new bare republic spf 100 today and I will try to remember to update on my thoughts when I use it!

I need you to go back to Ulta, there was so much more added to the natural section that I was curious about it.

The Bioderm Atoderm oil body wash is great! The fragrance is very mild and is barely there.

Hey Dr. Dray💕 I am very allergic to shea butter! It seems shea is in everything, Im also allergic to hyaluronic acid. I do have a latex allergy which is what shea butter is in natural form! Can you talk about some cleansers and moisturizers for rosacea very dry skin that doesn't have shea butter in them! My face burns and turns red so easily and I can look like I have a red mask on my whole lower chin area. It's very painful! It comes and goes every few weeks.

The Ultra Sheer SPF 60+ serum is really good. I also enjoy the Bare sunscreen SPF 100 (really like that one!!!)

Full zinc sunscreens break me out so much. Is there a good sunscreen u would suggest for hormonal dry to normal skin?

22:35 The Neutrogena ultra sheer has Helioplex technology which stabilizes the UV filters so that about 85% of the UVA protection is still there, lasting for about 4-5 hours per application the company claims. The other 60 SPF invisible daily defense one I don’t think has the Helioplex so it probably isn’t as stabilized and does not last as long in the sun is not far as UV protection is concerned. I use the SPF 70 age defense one for UVA protection and use Skin Aqua for around my eyes as it doesn’t sting and is four star boots rated which means it blocks at least 90% of UVA (16+ blocks out about 90% of UVA).

Can you do a video on the Saccharomyces ferment in skin products? Thank you!

The versed sunscreen was reformulated. You should review it once again to see if there’s a noticeable difference.

Hey Dr. Dray, this is off topic, but I’ve recently come across articles saying that stimulates significantly accelerate skin aging. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, and prescribed a stimulant medication to help me focus. Is this something I should be concerned about? I’m currently 18 years old, trying my best to prolong my skins health. I plan to bring up these concerns to my physiatrist, and get her opinion soon. However, if you have any informed or advise on this matter, I’d really appreciate your input. Thank you so much for all the videos you made, you’ve taught me to care for my skin since I was a young teenager.

I love going to target but the one closest to me is so lame and always out of stock of everything lol I need that lightening wand! I love the hero recovery balm and pimple patches.
