I'M IN LOVE with the Chinese Haunted House. All of the cultural stuffs and the Taoist references too ... *Chef kiss* Beautiful and I want to have those designs so much! Horror based from Chinese culture (even eastern culture in general) is a rare sight in ACNH, but this island nails it! Yue Lan(ghost festival for wandering souls/basically eastern Halloween), Ghost's Wedding (actually terrifying) and Taoism horror, all the eerie things!

I’m guessing that the creator of the island doesn’t speak English (probably Japanese from the names of characters and the island) so they can’t do an interview if they can’t communicate. And the times they did speak, they probably used google translate. But that’s just what I think, I could be wrong though.. 🤷🏽‍♀️
