I wouldn't (and with my present knees, couldn't) like doing those stairs. Can you imagine how germy those rope handles are?

So glad they're updating the cabins with the wood. The cabins looked way too much like a dorm room at a community college prior to them updating the cabins.

The salt dispenser is a relic from over 100 years ago..they were called salt cellars or open salts. They were common before salt shakers for use with authentic salt prior to the addition of anticaking agents. They were made of crystal, cut glass or sterling silver. Over 5000 different ones were produced. I have over 300 of them. What a blast from the past!!!

Heights and enclosed staircase that gets smaller, I wouldn't have made it. You're my hero Ben!

I asked my girlfriend.. "How do you like your eggs in the morning?" She replied... "Unfertilized."

This video brought back SO many wonderful memories from my visit to Bruges in 2012. I remember climbing that clock tower, walking those streets and taking one of the boat tours. (I made a poster of a photo from the canal that was the centerpiece of my front room for several years). And the chocolate! There are NO words! Thank you for bringing back such beautiful memories!

Ben, you were so CUTE climbing the stairway to the top. Congrats on making it. I wouldn’t have even tried.

I think this cruise line suits my personality the most. I think it's probably good to remember that a lot of things are included because it can feel more expensive, but with other cruise lines, you might end up spending more in the long run with various charges.

Food looked delish, and glad they upped the room decor a bit. I had written them off due to the tacky cheap-looking decor on the Scarlet lady. Now they need to increase the swimming pool and hot tub space. Is there a spa? What is offered?

Really enjoyed and appreciated this travel segment. After the initial excitement of discovering what the ship has to offer, it looks like you can really relax during the trip. Looking forward to experiencing the Virgin ships in the future. By the way, the Belgian waffle sticks and beer looked amazing! I think we'll be making waffles for dinner tonight! 🤣

I sailed on the Scarlet Lady in February and really had a wonderful cruise. The food was some of the best I’ve had on a cruise line. The entertainment was also very good.

I will have to agree the cabins ARE indeed roomier then they appear..Although, on Scarlet it was a bit tight between the foot of the bed and the TV, but doable..Would be real tight for 'fluffier' cruisers tho..LOVE the wood accents on Valiant, and you say they are putting that on Scarlet as well? Nice!! I was completely blown away by the quality of all the food places when I sailed Scarlet back in February! Looking forward to seeing more shenanigans on Valiant! Happy cruising guys!!
