I'm so happy for you. I'm sure things will keep getting better, so hang in there. We are all rooting for you. I had hip replacement surgery 8 years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made (except marrying mi wife 63 years ago).

Tisha, you are amazing, l broke both arms in 2006, had total right-hip replacement in Dec. 2019. And l worry about a limp. You are an inspiration! So happy your doing good!

I’m glad you had surgery last year so you didn’t have to deal with COVID-19 and surgery at the same time. I assume they had to check your blood pressure and pulse with your leg. Carpel Tunnel Surgery on my wrists was the strangest surgery I ever had. I was awake during surgery! The doctor placed a special one-way blood pressure cup around my arm, with my arm straight up in the air the doctor wrapped the arm with an ace bandage to force the blood from my arm. During surgery my arm was out to my side yet my brain still thought it was straight up into the air (very strange sensation). I could hear everything the doctor said but felt nothing. When the doctor said “Ut Oh” I had to remind him that this was the last thing a patient wants to hear during surgery!😬 when the surgery was finished the blood was allowed to flow back into my arm and off to the recovery room I went.

You’re so brave! I’m glad it’s helped. I have a different kind of physical disability, which I’ve accommodated all my life. (My spine) It affects how much I can carry and lift. I can stand and walk well, but I don’t have the leg muscle strength or muscle coordination to use my toes or shoulders (I have muscle trembles, so I worry about dropping things!). Wishing you the most wonderful spring and summer seasons and all the joys and more goodness...

Tisha UnArmed, if you are happy to make one, yes please. My own hatred of face masks is just that due to my underlying condition, I can’t moderate my temperature well at all, so I get light-headed very, very easily and they do NOT help matters, but I bet that’s trivial compared to your experiences.
