You've Never Seen An Amp Like This!! PARASOUND JCM250 REVIEW
With circuitry designed by the legendary John Curl, the flagship Parasound Halo JCM250 is a world-class power amp. It offers 5 W of class-A power before switching into class AB operation. A new John Curl driver stage employs a cascode circuit for greater open-loop bandwidth and superior linearity.
Parasound's Bybee Music Rails offer active high-frequency filtration for the input stage. Gain can be set to 29 dB or 23 dB gain for optimum compatibility with high-gain preamps or extremely efficient speakers.
A separate R-core transformer for the input stage suppresses noise on the power line. The direct coupled signal path means no capacitors or inductors get in the way of great sound. The JFET input stage is connected to a MOSFET driver stage. The 42 lb. amp uses a heavy shielded toroidal transformer. Full power is rated all the way down to 2 Hz for unrestricted low-end bass

wow. the guts look amazing. the style is amazing. but those screw heads... just floating on the surface like that... they couldn't have just stamped some dents into that sheet on top? used a nice thick slab of aluminum with some countersunk holes? i mean.
I had an A21. It was well built like these monos. The thing is it sounded good but just about the same as my other solid state power amps; 2 yamahas, NAD amp. I sold it and went with a Mac Mc275 tube amp. This is when I heard a noticeable and pleasurable "difference" in my room. I want to emphasize I do not necessarily mean "improvement".
Back ground music is distracting
New New ? ... That's interesting. What's happening with the company? Management? etc ?

for $7k ? ... oh my god ..that's crazy. I'd like to know what these offer over any of bridgeable stereo amps in the Halo series. That's a lot of money for a monoblock.
What’s happened, Tom?
Noise in the background sucks. Bailed.
