i would like to add a comment to Lanesharks brush cutter, I believe adding wheels to the cutter would make it more efficient , with adding wheels you could use your front end loader in the float position and the brush cutter could easily roll across the ground and follow the terrain. I have seen these on bobcats and that is the thing they have the most trouble with, controlling the brush cutter and keeping it out of the dirt, thanks I hope this works for them, with the bobcats being so short they tend to bounce a lot.

Great video. Keep up the good work. What you keep calling a pump, is actually a hydraulic motor. The pump is what supplies the hydraulic fluid to drive the motor, that drives the blades. Something you're not considering is, when you are grinding the brush driving straight into it, you must remain aware of the angle of the mowing deck in relation to the operator's position. When ever you're seeing the underside of the mowing deck, one of these just cut branches can get thrown in your face. Many skidsteer mounted mowers have a chain attached from the mower to the skidsteer, to keep the operator from raising the deck high enough to allow the mower to throw waste material at the operator. Bobcat actually includes a Lexan door to attach to the skidsteer in front of the operator compartment for the operator's safety.

The utility of this unit is rather amazing, I run a 6 ft diamond brush cutter and its a truly amazing machine but it throws shit around like you cannot believe and thank God 99% of its under the deck being chopped but every once in awhile you will see a chunk of wood come out at about 300 mph and fly off to places unknown if the operator got hit by one of those 1% pieces it could easily kill you, that is what would worry me about this unit it looks dangerous as hell!

just as with any machine...you've gotta keep an eye on the arms, loader, rear attachments and hoses. If they are constantly catching ya might consider some heavy duty zip ties. If you're using it in the woods....just be careful as you would with any cutter my friend

Definitely would LOVE to use one of those to clear around hay fields, trails and pond banks on the farm. I can’t but find myself thinking about tires getting punctured by a cut stob. Have had it happen several times while bush hogging thick stuff. I always have plugs and an air compressor nearby when I get ready to put in a little tractor time.

Years ago, say about 50, I saw the power company using a mower to clear the right of way under power lines. Of course it was one of those BIG front end loaders, BIG six cylinder diesel, driving a similar deck in place of the big bucket. The blade had the swing tips and about 1.5 inch thick blade base. It would cut down and chop up 3 - 4 inch pine trees on the go. AMAZING machine. It would cut about a 6 foot or wider path.
