as someone who’s been playing since 2008, this is what almost everyones game was like. the majority of kids at the time didn’t have the ability for grandiose builds, so we’d just find cool free models and have fun, then forget about it lmao

i love how pure this game is. it’s just your average goofy studio creation from back then - i remember playing these sorts of default games for fun. i didn’t care that they were generic, i just liked exploring and since you could scroll through popular until you found games with 0 players back then, i was often joined by people who were curious about why a lone player is in the game. i miss being able to do that, but they’ve now put a limit on scrolling and there’s too many players in general now.

Place Roulette is actually a pretty important historical game. Keep in mind if you find those buses and UFOs in other games or if you find weird terrain because those are remnants of what were called Build Mode and the Stamper Tool. good times
