That was likely their target audience. I'm guessing 90's kids who are now moms and dads with kids - for the whole family to watch. If they were specifically targeting today's kids, they wouldn't have used Toy Story - would've gone for a much more recent movie to base it off of.

I really loved the commentators explaining football fundamentals along the way, to help parents get kids into the game. Never hurts to again hear what a sack is, why you give the ball away on purpose at 4th down, how the first down marker works, and how many points a field goal is.

The NFL is smart, ensuring they’ll have football fans consuming their product for several decades to come. Same reason they do the Nickelodeon games, although those are meant for older kids.

John Madden was the best at teaching new audiences how football rules worked. Especially with him writing all over the tv screen while the game was live lmao Rest In Love - John Madden

I’m glad they did that. I’m not familiar with American Football so it helps understand the rules and concepts.

Ngl I’m surprised at how well the motion capture got just about every movement, followed the ball surprisingly well with a few funky spots and this was hella fun to watch. NFL needs to do this more as they get the tech together

I want to see at least one game like this a week. It made me smile throughout! The best half-time show I’ve seen in a while 😂😂😂

obviosly there was glitches, this is the first time seeing it. for their first time this has so much potential. clearly aiming toward younger audiences i think they did an amazing job of doing that. Good stuff NFL way to keep the next generation into football

Ngl... This was pretty dope lol. I watched the whole game in Andy's Room lol. Yea there are a few bugs and glitches that need some fixing along the way. But that's expected given this is the first time of Sunday Funday. The half time show was cool lol with Duke KABOOM. And it's cool how they are already making Stats for Andy's Room Football Games. Jaguars 1-0 in Andy's Room lol.

This just reminds me of putting my He-Men and G.I. Joe's on the carpet as a kid, 11 on 11, and creating & reenacting some of the most exciting highlights I could imagine. This was pre-Madden Era.

My son watched this football game from start to finish. I love this idea. This is how you get children to play a game of football.

I've read a lot of naysayers before and after this game. Although I didn't watch, I have seen the Nickelodeon broadcast of games and highlights. I thought that was a great experience for young fans (and older). With that said, I think the idea and implementation should be applauded. These new broadcast concepts during a live game are no doubt challenging but it can open up many avenues for the future.

They need to do this more often. I'd like to see some nba games done this way too
