the world has always been violent and a terrible dangerous place to exist. life today is far easier and safer with tougher laws. look up pre-islamic slavery in the Arab world and be shocked. I can go on with disgusting practices in "medicine" in the Middle Ages and on and on. life expectancy is so much higher today. life is much much better and easier. the world is NOT a terrible place today compared to 635 AD. this video makes some points however keep things in context...everyone wants a good life in this world and that requires some level of evil or malintent, no way around it.

Salam bro, before Muhammad, Allah was not considered the sole divinity by Meccans; however, Allah was considered the creator of the world and the giver of rain. These guys had a messed up view of Allah associating partners with him, when Muhammad Saw started saying the truth, they lost their minds
