Great response from Ben and a progressive ethos demonstrated by the company. Regarding the solar panels. A friend owns a factory in South London. He has just had nearly 200 solar panels installed. The cost was roughly 80K. The intention is for the electricity generated to be used in-house. He reckons the whole cost will be met within 3½ years. That means 15 years of free power with some low maintenance costs. The roof has an excellent aspect, facing due south. Power yield is low in the winter but should rise to 60kw per hour when the day length and irradiance increases through spring summer and autumn. One factor to take into account: the electricity company only pay 6p per kw. So much better if the power is directly used or stored in batteries. But as an investment the installation of solar panels makes economic sense

I am actually the head of the team at Google who gets written permission from each and every business in the world. There are 15 billion people on my team and we go through the equivalent of 15 Amazon forests each year in paper. The coffee machine never bloody works either.

No. Believe it or not lots of people innocently don’t know the law regarding public photography. In her own way she’s just looking out for the company. My problem with her was her approach. It was over the top. But she will now be educated so it’s all good.

Interesting video, good advertising for Leitz too. Ben, what a credit to the company 👍, especially compared to some of the people you come across. I think they (Leitz) might get some enquiries for tooling from woodworkers for specialised cutters etc, I'd personally not heard of them before.

Fabulous job the Leitz manager and helping businesses keep their cutting tools sharp; pond and solar are additions as well. Thanks DJ for introducing us to Leitz Tooling. 👍⭐⭐⭐ The business estate is a modern development on agricultural land surrounding Pinnacles Wood atop the hill, part of which may be the wooded area behind Leitz (or regrowth). All rural through WW2 and up to 1960 OS. 1990 they changed name from CD Monninger dating to early 1900s to Leitz Tooling; located in the unit for a long time and since obtained the freehold.

I know confrontational videos are always entertaining, but i really do love it when someone comes out and embraces the idea that the video is going on youtube, and then they represent the company in a positive way. The left hand partial gate does not appear to properly secured in the open position. If this so it’s extremely dangerous and can lead to serious injury or death. A company near Ledbury Herefordshire have recently been find over £1 million after one of their employees died. The gate swung open and the end went straight through the windscreen of the company van he was driving. Instead of worrying about DJ and his camera, the safety of their staff, visitors and passers by should be their real concern. The conversation with Ben and Steve was excellent, they did the company proud and saved the day.

Seems a great bloke, big Ben, thought at first he was coming out for the usual argument but turned out to be a well-informed credit to the business.

He is a quality boss totally clued up and educated. Poor lady really needs to update on no right of privacy in a public place plus filming from public areas of private buildings.

Another gem company, thought this was going to kick off with the women and their emotional decisions, but as usual a mans logic saved the day and what a helpful couple of guys too. 👍

DJ this is why your channel and the content that you create has never been a dull moment. Every time I sit back on the recliner my legs kicked up with the occasional bowl of popcorn for some entertainment I'm always left from start to finish fully satisfied. This episode in particular is a great way in showcasing that what you do isn't always set out in being confrontational but yet the total opposite. There's so much quality information that we get as viewers as your performing your audit on these specific establishments that in a perfect world we would never get. Sure confrontation in your videos is also juicy but when things go down like they did In This very episode it tends to shed more light on why you do the things you do and why we continue watch with total satisfaction.

The difference between the two sets of staff is remarkable. I won't say any more.

Why do these muppets not know basic laws? It is perfectly legal and lawful to photograph anything and anyone from a public place. Why did the muppet think anyone needs permission to photograph a building? Did the muppet come from an authoritarian country? I would give her a written warning not to accost or threaten members of the public going about their lawful business. The guy who came out afterwards was friendly and professional, and a credit to the company.

As a photographer, this isn't at all surprising. Lots of people instantly presume you're up to something illegal. First time I encountered it was in docklands, in the 80s. I had no idea what the laws were then, had to go to the library to look it up😂
