I think you're misunderstanding what he means by ghostwriters. Not somebody who writes the entire song for you but someone who might help you adjust a bar or melody or hook to make the song overall better. Based on some of the shit Em has put out in his career, he could've used some help there instead of doing it all himself. 😂

And even in the early days, you can hear Em structure his syllables; rhyme schemes, and flow patterns a level or two above Kuniva; Swifty, Porter, Bizzare (duh), and Proof. Royce is just about neck and neck with Em but he always credits Em for pushing his own pen and structuring syllables. I grew up with Proof, Swifty was in a click called the Rabees, Denaun was doing beats, Baatin, Bizarre Kid used to be in Cyphers. When Proof started hanging with Em more he started rapping more crazy because he used to Rhyme kinda like Nas/Masta Ace. But Em held his own at the Hip Hop Shop on Saturdays, Bizarre and Em went to NY & linked became an Outsider. On his own he hasn't needed a ghost writer then or now. Side note PROOF didn't write rhymes so what the fck is you saying
