My gosh. Joel looks younger now than the throwback video. He's glowing now.✨ DEJAVU is one of my favorite era because of Aaron specifically. He became my bias wrecker. 😂 He's still handsome but he looks extra fine during that time. ❤ Also, imo, Aaron would be very good as a jewelry or watch ambassador because his hands look amazing. His hand movements during choreographies are so mesmerizing. 😊

Sleep Talking was tragic but we love it anyway! Aaron is beautiful in whatever he wears! ❤

The truth is, if you are good looking (or very confident!), you'll look great even in your pajamas 😅 I don't know if you are aware of the fashion influence kpop has on people all over the world. Walking down the street and watching the clothes of younger people, you can definitely point out who is a kpop fan (I'm not just talking about the merch, but the overall styling, make-up, hairstyle or even shoes). I think it's great to have such role models in our idols, because when you try to imitate them, you are more aware of how you should style yourself and what to wear to look better :) Fashion doesn't have to be 'up-to-date', but it's fun to play with it!

Seeing that compass-looked-a-like logo of Nu'est before made me recall the days I wanted to save much money for me to be able to buy the varsity jacket with Nuest logo on it--yet it never happened 'coz at that time(way back when I was in the middle school) it's really hard for me to save up due to alot of reasons. 😂 Thank you for this new podcast/video Joel and Aaron. Joel, I'm a fashion professor and you have asked the all time most frequent question I get from students when analyzing runway looks, and that is "Can you even wear this off the runway?" Or, they ask, "Why would anyone wear this? It's too bizarre." Fashion weeks, especially those major fashion centers such as Paris, London, New York, Milan, Tokyo, and Seoul display the height of fashion on the runway. There are essentially 4 types of runways (there are more, but for brevity sake I'll just say 4). Avante garde is fashion outside of the box, works of art, and new technology, such as Alexander McQueen's Joan of Arc theme in 1998 and the Met Gala almost every year fit in this category. Then you have haute couture, which are one of a kind looks that often end up on red carpets worn by celebrities (Dior's 2023 Haute Couture show). Then you have runway shows that show looks that everyone can wear such as seasonal and resort collections. Lastly, you have ready-to-wear which also can be worn by everyone. Ready-to-wear also encompasses street wear which has been a huge growth area in fashion over the past 10-15 years largely due to the popularity of brands like Supreme. So what you see coming down the runway depends on the type of collection it is and can be anything ranging from the bizarre to the ordinary.

Joel talking about fashion while he hates it. I get where u are coming from tho. I think sometimes it looks cheap,even if you own expensive clothes, like the more u try to show ur expensive items, the cheaper people look...more when they have no sense of fashion whatsoever to combine or even like try to mix some cheap items with expensive ones. Or like Aaron said, just some item like a watch or bag...Thank u joel for the tips with clothes and perfume. Cologne in Chile is a cheap version, not really long-lasting and also it's def more alcohol in it, while perfume it has some complex oils and stuff that makes it last longer. And well, of course fashion is something important in kpop, kpop is not only about the music but more about aesthetic, you know, the fun looks, the cool looks, the choreo, how all of u are portrayed, like the Sailor Moon of kpop xD different colors, different personalities, etc etc...if u get what I mean. Anyways, thank u guys for ur honest opinions about it, you don't have to like fashion and be so invested in it if you clearly don't like it. I personally like it a lot and enjoy mixing colors, enjoy to give it a touch to my style, add some nice perfume and not overdoit, at least with the perfume.
