Just bought a place after years travelling around the country. So convenient to Bangkok and thus the rest of the country and Asia. You can never get bored in this part of Thailand.

I have a feeling this trip to Thailand will take you over the 100k subscriber goal. My mother traveled the world, she loved Thailand the most. So great to see the world through your camera lens and your mind.

I was just in Thailand picking up my daughter in Bangkok from her semester at Sea voyage and I absolutely loved it. I’ve traveled the world but loved Thailand the most. This video inspires me to go to those little unknown and quiet places that you’ve been showing. I did do Phuket and Phi phi but what country has such inexpensive food and pleasant people than Thailand.

Hey, great clip, great quality. I am living in Jomtien for more then 3 years know and still love it. Don't miss a trip to Koh Larn, the island just a 40 min boattour from Pattaya where you find a tropical island with cristall clear water you won't experience in Pattaya/Jomtien.

It looks really nice there and the prices are amazing. Much props to Thailand!

Better live there in the winter than swden or from Canada. Have been watching you for three years. With the crazy prices in Canada it is difficult to retire. Even Mexico is expensive. Getting ripped off in cancun with the clinic. I am a retired travel agent. We didn't have utube to enjoy the world. Thanks for your videos.

I keep telling my husband that Mexico in is expensive these days and maybe be he might consider moving someplace different. Thailand is far away but so if you don't plan on it or want to come back to to the states, why not try Thailand. It's good to to keep options open.

@@williamtaudien i agree 100%, William. Mexico used to be my got to destination.. I’m currently traveling SE Asia now ( in pattaya currently after staying in Bangkok) and I don’t think I can ever justify going back to Mexico… I’m from the US ….

Hi William, I moved to Jomtien last year and absolutely love it. It has everything that i need close by. It's also affordable, safer, and quieter than Pattaya. A quick 10 minute ride into the city, and you have malls, hospitals, and anything else that you need.

@@stanleykyle I am having vacation every year one month December/ january , just went home 2 weeks ago, this time had a condo in soy 8, hated that I had to go home for work, by the way it is one of the best places to buy western food in the marked besides the busstation, but go in 7/11 or a marked first, cheaper

Missing Thailand already and only been gone for a week or so. Can't wait to get back in 10 days or so.

We were there for Xmas week and then hopped over to Japan for new years. Loved Thailand. Everything was so inexpensive and people were so kind and friendly. We spent a lot of time at Nai Yang. Such a chill place.

You seem like you have fallen in love with thailand and who can blame you. The groceries seem pricey for south asia. Maybe the veggies are cheaper in the local outdoor markets. The accomodation seem amazingly cheap for expats. Another video of that night or day market would be great! Keep vlogging William..your videos are entertaining because of your enthusiasm and love for adventure! I miss the clapping..lol!

@@festerofest4374 People need to get over the cost differences to back home. My math tells me that I'd break even living there and of course, an expensive flight for a short holiday still leaves you with an expensive holiday.

Easy enough once you've spent time there, to find the cheaper markets and restaurants - which Thai ppl tend to frequent. The ones catering for Westerners with Western food tastes can be pricey.

@@peenokjaidee4923 No doubt you could buy all your vegetables and meats, fish, seafood etc very inexpensively at the markets where the locals shop for these things. If you didn't crave imported, processed food you could eat like a healthy king for cheap.

I spent a few months in 2023 in Jomtien and it's a great place. I'd suggest heading down to Rayong for a few days. My monthly rental was somewhat larger than yours and it was $280 per month.

Very welcoming William !! My Filipina GF & I enjoy Pattaya every 2 months for 2 months stay. We are in Center of Pattaya now, then Jomtien next month. I am retired from California & New subscriber, Thanx !
