@Mark P Dave was too young during those days. My personal hatred of disco was 2 fold... the culture and clothing on both men and women, and the same dumbass beat with the stupidest lyrics on 95% of the manufactured crap they attempted to call music. I honestly thought at the time that I coined the phrase 'disco sucks' when a friend asked me what I thought of it. Turns out, it was a universal thought for those who love and appreciate real music. I have a similar disdain for techno and most (not all) modern pop garbage.

I'm a huge BeeGees fan and I love that they're bringing this music to new audiences. Props to Foo for always doing something different.

This is seriously one of my most favorites moments, EVER!!! I fucking love the Bee Gee’s & Foo Fighters! Two of my favorite bands had a baby 😍

Dave Grohl is an artists artist ... props to him and FF for this. And remember, the Brothers Gibb are the most successful group -- songs, hits (originals and covers by others) and writing credits for other artists -- in pop music history. Bigger than the Beatles, Stones, et al in this combined category. And only band in history with #1 hits on the Billboard charts in five consecutive decades!

He should, having grown up through the 70s, like myself. Alrhough I was just a kid in the 70s. Had I been a teen or a bit older, I would have been able to go to the cool concerts and rock shows at that time. Dance clubs were very popular, obviously because of disco. ABBA was my favorite disco-style band.

Heck ya!!! I love when artists step outside the box like this and sound great without ruining the song!! I want to hear this over and over!! Props to Dave Grohl for having that range to take on Barry Gibbs falsetto! Wow! 🎉❤

Dave always looks like he's having waaayyy too much fun on stage, and it's brilliant 👏

I did NOT expect this to be as good as it is. Props for paying homage to a classic tune and band.

The Foo Fighters appreciation of all genres of music is amazing. I love how they not only educate themselves, but their audience as well.

Loved that they did a Bee Gees cover. Pat Smear thought bubble: "I can't believe he's making me play this." Kudos to the middle backup singer for that stringy outfit. Yes!

None other than Joe Walsh, on Andy Gibb's "(Love is) Thicker Than Water." If he was not a fan, he didn't express it, but his talents were clearly evident. He was extremely saddened by his death and had the kindest words to say about him.

Dave Grohl is a national treasure! I saw the Foos when they came to Pittsburgh several years ago and it was the best rock and roll show I've ever attended, and I've attended a fair number. Going to a Foos show is like hanging out with Dave and his buddies in their basement, playing awesome music and just having fun. I've never been much of a Bee Gees fan, but Dave has changed that! What can't this guy do???

It is one thing to get to the "Bee Gee's high voice" in an audio/studio recording, but switching to that live on stage is showing a great skill.

Dave Grohl is so fucking entertaining I swear! I so enjoy his sense of humor and his style and the fact that he doesn't care who the fuck knows that until recently he was a closet Bee Gees fan!!!🤣🤣❤️

The Bee Gees have such a deep catalogue that it’s kinda annoying that it’s this one LP side that seems to be the center of their universe. This rendition of YSBD is kinda lame. But ok. Strange it’s the one BG recording I don’t have.
