Koby and Helmeppo's growth is just another thing that makes One Piece so incredible. The way Koby has grown to fully grow into the heroic traits he displayed when he first debuted is always so satisfying to read. The way Helmeppo went from hating everyone to praising Koby wholeheartedly, recognizing his friend's efforts. It just gets me emotional in the best way.

This is so incredible. The fact that coby is the first character luffy met on the start of his journey makes it even more interesting now both of them progressed

This shit got me proud of how far koby has come, even if his feats weren’t as impressive as luffy’s, they’re still really incredible

It’s so crazy to think koby was there in the first episode. Like a roger and garp set up, we got koby and luffy set up. Now the two of them are gonna come together to do what happened years before they were born.

When this gets animated it's going to be one of the best fights yet. Galaxy Impact and Coby finally being able to realise his dream of becoming an Admiral will be amazing. When Coby said to Luffy that he would become an Admiral, it seemed like a joke. Coby's on that king shit now

This shit gonna make me cry when it gets animated I already know it

"You Say Run" was made for this haha, it works so well, largely, I think, because obviously there's a huge parallel between Midoriya/All Might and Koby/Garp, although that could be said for quite a few stories given it's mostly just the underdog-without-a-hope-wins-over-legendary-ideal-mentor-and-struggles-to-fulfill-potential trope

When this is finally animated, please do this edit again. I’ve watched this so many times already

There is going to be hell on earth when Luffy finds out about what they did to Garp. Gear 5th Rage mode is coming 👌

Ishizuka has been hyping it up on twitter. Which you KNOW means its going to be good (since the last things he worked on that he hyped like that was Law v BB, Zoro v King, and that Snakeman/Yamato v Kaido scene).

Reading this week to week, "What are you gonna do Koby??", "LIVE UP TO HIS EXPECTATIONS!!", and having Koby rise up was amazing. Just pure catharsis seeing Koby unleash his power. Can't wait to see what else he does in the final saga.

Nah the real battle actually begins now.Garp can now fight without thinking about anyone in the island.Remember in marineford arc, sengoku actually afraid when garp joined the fight.It is Because when garp uses his Special ability whole island will be destroyed.Thats why sengoku didnt let garp to fight.Just think white beard has done in his illness.

It would say in the Chapter if he died. I don't think Garp's done, not until he gets to see Luffy again. It says at the end of the chapter that this incident made world news, that Coby was saved, but Vice Admiral Garp "disappeared" on Fullalead

Koby deserves that Conqueror's Haki. His will parallels Luffy in so many ways especially in this arc.

This fight, I can’t wait for the anime adaptation. Koby is one step closer to being that rival to Luffy. Ge has a long ways, but I believe in him as much as the King of the Pirates does.

Koby pulling out an attack that overpowers a Yonko commander makes me think he's gonna earn that admiral title before the end of the story, or at least have it offered to him. Prior to this I really thought we'd get a 10+ year timeskip epilogue scene of Koby getting the promotion, but now I'm convinced he's being set up to be a main combatant against the antagonist admirals alongside Sabo. He might even be the one to personally slap Ryokugyu into retirement, and I could see Koby using powerful talk no jutsu on Akainu as a callback to their interaction at Marineford

Look at the fucking SPEED of garp though. Kuzan literally standing right in front of him. And from a standing start he still disappears in a blur and totally smokes kuzan, whos freaking admiral level. Oh, and add to that, garp is old as fuck and super wounded already. Enough has been said about garps raw strength, but the actual blitz hes able to put out...Holyyy

Colby has improved the most through out the entire story bar none.

Garp can look scary with his facial hair. He looks like some demon out of nowhere, even more so than the fake scary king of hell aka zoro or jinbei in demon form against who is who.

I really love koby, he has grown a lot in a world full of monsters and powers. He is just a human, crybaby and a fragile boy that grew up a lot, no devil fruit, no enhancement on his body, NOTHING! Only courage and a dream which lead him to have a great haki powers and i really respect that and love that for him. He gets a lot of hate but he was there in ep 1 with luffy in the beginning and the story literally began with him, seeing him grow stronger is just a delight to watch. Like one piece is one of these stories where you can have anyone as a main character and it will still work, Koby is one of those characters, like he’s literally the typical shounen MC. Gotta love our pink haired crybaby, i need to see him become an Admiral!

Y’all should realize koby is a phenom like luffy. He’s going up the ranks crazy fast in a short period

Yes. That's not impressive compared to where Zoro is currently at...but from where Koby started, it's Damn Impressive.

Luffy trained basically all his life, Koby has only been training for 2-3 years... he's on pace to catch up IMO (which is necessary for their Roger-Garp relation)

The idea that Garp is a hero and Roger said "we gotta turn this world upside down" means that Roger and Luffys dream is to make people like pirates as much as they do, a childish dream as expected.

Tldr, don't underestimate chapter 1 mfs in a 1000 chapter-long series.
