At 55, I saw a lot of fantastic equipment! I now have a new favorite. That push-back bar is stupid simple, effective, and efficient! Awesome add on that will out last the whole mill! A+!!! 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎

50 years ago quite a few high school students I had in school in the logging community where I lived would work pulling green chain at the large log Weyerhaeuser sawmill. It's all small log and computerized now.

I feel for you Britany, I have been there and done that and it is not fun, but you are young and will heal fast. Praying for a speedy recovery.

We had a 38" by 14' white pine once that a customer wanted live edge slabs out of for bar tops for his business. Got enough 2 5/8" slabs out of the center to get the job done plus enough narrower ones for some liquor shelving for the back bar. Good video 👍 Hope Ms Brittany makes out well.

In New England, Maine to be exact pine is what they sell as firewood. Fresh cut pine has an aroma that is super. Myself I wished I had a mill, that way I can get these trees that were knocked down by a micro burst cut into oak and maple boards.

Sure is a nice mill and setup. I have a Lucas mill and really wish I had a band mill sometimes. Your band mill wastes less and makes boards faster it seems. The Lucas mill does make some nice boards once the log is lined up.

Tyler, you know that you don't have to remove those 4 inch slabs until they interfere with the head. Then you can use the log clamp to dump them off. Check out Out of the Woods sawmill to see how nathan does it.

Best wishes Ms Brit. For the next 4 days after they pull (chip them out) those wisdom teeth, your best friend will be ramen noodles. I lived on those things after they got rid of my wisdom teeth. But, I'm not a big believer in using a bunch of pain meds, so your mileage may vary. :)

That sharpener is cool.....why is milling wood so gratifying?

Would be nice to have one. Mine wasn’t ordered with it. I bought it second hand.

1-1/2" x 3-1/2" will shrink and be undersize once dry but maybe some uses it does not matter.

Get well soon Britney. My sister had her wisdom teeth removed one Christmas back in the day. I was out on the beer mother was out somewhere else. Shocking to say I was home before mother. When I got home our cousin was with my sister then mother came home pissed which was funny because our mother doesn’t drink and me my sister and cousin were rolling about laughing and my sister was hurting more while laughing

Feel better soon Britt!!! No sucking thru a straw. You're asking for dry sockets. I speak from first hand experience. That's the only problem I had because I did not follow directions. I couldn't get my mouth open and decided I'd use a straw anyway! You'll do fine sweet pea!

It ain't that bad I've had three feelings put in without anesthesia. Removed two wisdom teeth by myself... I don't expect everybody to be that way.. as I get older I am 54 now I definitely opted for anesthesia..

I will say a prayer for your well being.

I see you run water on your blades cutting pine. I can’t keep the pitch off my blades unless I use diesel drip. Anything special in your water? I’ve tried surfactant and also dish washing liquid in my water with no luck.
