Hey guys! I want to let you all know that on July 9th (time TBD) I will be posting the hour long short film “The Average Redditor: Origins”. As the title suggests it’s the origin story of Wyatt. I put in a lot of work into this one and I think you guys will enjoy it. If you watch it on July 9th (or a later date since after all it is an hour long) make sure to switch your settings to HD so you get the full experience. Thanks!

@@cherryhazard8002nah my mom is a very sweet and outgoing person that makes friends everywhere she goes and my dad is... this guy. They're still together because he used to not be like this but now she's disabled and can't work so she's kinda stuck with him now. I also think there's probably couples that don't "believe in divorce" or sth so they make excuses for the partner while silently suffering.

I feel like elderly people that act like this are looking for a sense of purpose, that's why they constantly nitpick on things others are doing and try to put a stop to it, because they believe it's gonna make them seem more important than they actually are, or they genuinely believe they are doing a service to those around them. They aren't young anymore, they have a lot of free time and the world rapidly changes around them, which makes them feel the need to do these sorts of things. Some elderly people take it out by doing something of substance, however.

I lived in a condo with an exterior entrance. We shared a set of stairs with our next door neighbor. It was mid-December and we were literally still wrestling our Christmas tree through the front door and down a narrow hallway to our living room when our neighbor comes over to tell us “you have to clean up that mess!” The way she said it was like we had left the needles on the stairs for days. Even my infinitely patient husband was irritated. “Yeah. Ok, Carol. That was the plan. You know, once the tree was inside.”

You might not see this, but I was reading a post on Reddit recently (I know, I know) and in it the OP had just moved to a new neighborhood and Karen next door told OP she had 2 weeks to throw a "new neighbor" party to invite the neighborhood over so everyo e could meet her and see inside her home. Can you do an HOA sketch with this? It would be perfect.

Yo, PTSD fucking sucks, though. Also the countless other sensory disorders. I'm not saying don't do your thing but empathy is pretty cool too.
