You're Supposed to Believe That No One Knew Biden Was This Bad Until the Debate
President Joe Biden retreated to Camp David with his family on Sunday to deliberate over the future of his re-election campaign following a disastrous debate performance, according to a new report. Close associates of the 81-year-old president believe that the ultimate decision about his presidential bid will be made solely by Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, NBC News reported, citing top Democratic sources.
“The decision-makers are two people - it’s the president and his wife,” one source stated. “Anyone who doesn’t understand how deeply personal and familial this decision will be isn’t knowledgeable about the situation.”
Another source added, “The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady. If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course.”
Biden’s trip to the presidential retreat in Maryland, planned in advance, came after a week spent preparing for last Thursday’s debate, White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates confirmed Saturday. Despite his preparation, Biden’s 90-minute debate against former President Trump was fraught with difficulties; he appeared vacant and slack-jawed, frequently froze mid-thought, misspoke, or struggled to form coherent sentences.
The president and first lady returned to Camp David Saturday night, accompanied by their children and grandchildren. However, a source told NBC News that the gathering was not considered a formal family meeting. “Any discussion about the campaign is expected to be informal or an afterthought,” the source noted. “No one is sitting down for a formal or determinative discussion.”
The trip also serves as a respite for Biden, who attended fundraisers in the Hamptons and at New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s mansion over the weekend. It follows revelations by White House aides that Biden has difficulty functioning outside a six-hour window, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and is prone to gaffes and fatigue outside of those hours or while traveling abroad.
Editorial boards from the New York Times and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution have called for Biden to drop out of the race in the wake of his debate appearance. Leading Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have publicly defended Biden while privately expressing concern over his performance. Biden is expected to remain at Camp David until Tuesday.

In the early 90's I read a book, "Pawns In The Game", by Wm. Guy Carr, recommended by my Baptist Pastor, as a must read. After reading that book, I became wide awake/aware of what was going on in our government and political arena. For 18 years I watched the media propaganda, aware of what they were doing, and my fears for our country excellerated year after year. Those around me thought I had a tin foil hat, tighter than anyone they knew of. In early 2016 my oldest son was 36, and he told me he thought Donald Trump would make a great President. I seriously thought Donald Trump was a big wig looking for fame and it was a joke. In the early Summer of 2016, I heard one of Donald Trump's rally speeches. From that day forward, I watched him closely, with skepticism and serious discernment. I voted for him in 2016, and stayed up all night on the phone with my mother, who was halfway across the country, waiting for them to announce his win. The four years of violence and chaos the Demonkkkrats incited and staged did a horrible number on this country. Without the Demonkkkrats deliberate destruction, this country could've made great recovery and headway. When they shutdown this country (and the world) in March, 2020, I was completely shocked to see the American people lay down and let these people destroy this country. This coming election will give us another 4 years to take a shot at some recovery. But, if Americans don't stand up for righteousness, and work towards recovery, we are a done deal.
