The most important question is; do you need a litter box? If the cat is an indoorcat, yes of course. But if your cat is an outdoors cat and your neighbourhood is cat friendly, your cat will likely prefer to go outdoors to do, what they have to do. Yes often even in winter or on rainy days. I have two litter boxes, but only when I go on holiday (which is not very oft), I have both in the hallway. And of course family that come to feed them. And only than the litter boxes are used, because my cats are not used to my family. So these outdoor cats become indoor cats for about a week and an half.

That's right, good question! Cats who live outside love their litter box just as much as cats who live indoors. You'll have happier neighbors with outdoor litter boxes. 🤠Cats should not be going to the bathroom in people's flower gardens or front yards, so they should use an outdoor litter box.😻💕

@@AllSeasonPaws I have a good front and back garden, no grass, not much tiles, mostly bushes and conifers, where they like to hide under (not only my cats, but neighbouring cats too. And yes they pee and poop there too. So no, they don't do that in other peoples garden. Almost everybody has a stone garden in front and fences in the back, so my cats do not go to other gardens. So I do not need a litterbox outside, my garden is one giant litterbox it self. 😝

@@erikabee3498 Very interesting, different cats like to poop in the same place in your garden because they are each trying to claim your garden as their territory. All cats from domestic cats to largest - lions and tigers - use their urine and feces to mark territory.
