Thank you for the video James! Big frog enthusiast and fighting game player from Mexico here. Your channel, analysis and general gameplay theory have helped me improve a ton as an edison player and Im really thankful for it! Keep doing that good work. Would love to see a video on deckbuilding theory, do you go by a more feel based approach when constructing a deck or do you follow an exact science based on ratios and math to deckbuild? Enjoyed the videos on the fish deck a ton, thanks for the great content!

Thanks for the vid! Knowing what to leave in the deck, when to soft lock vs dupe lock, and how greedy to get w sub are some of the hardest things for me w frogs. Soft locking instead of dupe locking hurts so bad when they drop a caius 😢

Hi James, awesome video. What are your thoughts on running 2 Unifrog’s to help with backrow hate? I feel like I always get d-prisoned when I use unifrog so I only get value of 1 spell or trap. Secondly, have you looked in to running a Lava Golem to abuse with Flip Flop Frog, or is that too slow?

4 minutes in with getting the second treeborn with substitoad, would they not use a card like or raigeki break book of moon on the resolution of the first substitoad rather than chaining to activation? Because then there's more a chance of you going for a swap frog etc and not just immediately recognising to get to a dupe to wall up. Or is that window to activate a quick effect on the resolution of a card a modern ruling?

You have priority to use substitoad effect on the summon of treeborn

> Or is that window to activate a quick effect on the resolution of a card a modern ruling? this applies to Edison too, unless the chain resolved in a monster being summoned (and it not starting a chain) will allow for ignition effect priority (sub) but in another example such as a chain resolving with CL1 MST. then non-turn player can use a fast effect before turn player can use an ignition

How do you feel about dandylion in any deck with sub? Foolish/one4one leads to some great plusses.

Dupe can add to hand from grave too so why not dump them into grave with swaps
