There are 2 types of Pokemon players. 1 who wants to actually catch more Pokemon and 1 who wants to just murder all of them and only train their starter. What's funny is Harry talking about killing Pokemon is dark.. meanwhile he murders every Pokemon he sees.. but I guess since he's using a Pokemon to do so it's not dark???

They started episode 1 with quest books. Probably threw them in a chest somewhere. There should also be a book icon in the top left when you open your inventory that takes you to the quests. That'd probably be more along the lines of what they're wanting instead of looking at the achievements.

That book they started with isn’t the quest book, I’ve just started the mod pack and the way to access the quest book is either clicking the icon in the inventory screen or the quest book button that has to be bound in the controls.

Yeah the book they started with isn't the quest book. It's for one of the mods and they just didn't care. The quests are in the top left as you said or with a button you have to bind.. it's always the same for all FTB quests.. yet somehow 2 professional Minecraft players that always play modpacks don't know this..

​@@Eventide215 they figured out to bind the quest book but it's also been like a couple years of vault hunters with one off series of ftb packs but they usually advertised a quest book. Here they didn't know if one even came included

@@Mystic-Midnight They've been playing Minecraft modpacks for years that have included the same quest system for years as well. There's no excuse for them to not know. Even with 1 1/2 years of Vault Hunters it doesn't mean you forget everything about other packs.

I do hope by the next episode you've figured out the quest book. Which you can find by opening your inventory, and then looking in the top-left corner. And that you don't need a millstone to get straw. Just a knife, and going ham on... grass, I think?

Glimmet is really cool. Every time an enemy makes contact with it, it sets up toxic spikes which means that every time a Pokémon switches in, it’ll get poisoned.

They joke, but you can in fact use your cobblemon against mobs. Put them out with R and they'll follow, anything which attacks you gets mobbed. Also doesn't Harry play nuzlockes? Why was he so confused a flying type was beating his grass type? XD

I think one of the big issues with this Cobblemon currently is it's barebones. The models look great and the battles work well, but there are no animations really. So the only thing you have for feedback is the tiny combat log that most gamers have been basically trained to never look at. The reason it works in Pokemon games is because you are forced to look at it and push a button to clear the log to be able to attack again.

28:15 apparently there is a mod called "Cobblemounts" that lets you ride the pokemon. Could be worth looking into.

Glare was one of the mobs that didn't win the Minecraft mob vote.

I feel like this series needs more people. This would have been a good one to have the teams from vault hunters

You can have your pokemon out and it will attack hostile mobs for you, like a different flavor of wolf. Also, there IS a questbook in the top left of the inventory screen, unbound in keybindings iirc.

Can’t help but feel like Harry takes all the simple parts out of Minecraft in the name of efficiency, speed running messes with you man

the tried and true strategy of decending into the deepest parts of the caves with a full inventory, very little food, minimal armor......

One of the biggest downfalls of JEI is always this. There's certain things that aren't shown because you simply use a tool on it. Like shearing tall grass to collect it. JEI won't show you that because it's not a "recipe" exactly. Never knew why they just keep it that way though.

Ancient Power is and always has been rock type. That's Hidden Power you're thinking of that changes type.

I'm not a huge fan of Pokemon but I'm really enjoying this series so far I was not really a big fan of the vault hunters but this is an really enjoying

I'm sure you have a bunch recorded already but if not make a gyrocopter they are super cheap to make but so cool for flying around!

Honestly barry offered an excellent point that just involves a dark theory cause if there aren't normal animals in Pokemon where do they get most of the food they eat mainly meat dishes 😅 I know there is tofu but we have to admit they have to be eating certain pokemon

I really hate this modpack so much.

They've been playing minecraft since it came out. Why are they still so bad at it? "Where did all these mobs come from?" Maybe they spawned behind you because you never put down any torches? SMH

I'm sorry but the block textures in this pack are atrocious. Pack makers sometimes need to learn that different ≠ better....
