I like how Erin makes mistakes but is still able to overcome with adaptation and sheer tenacity

Erin definitely makes my top Final Girl list. I love how competent she is and how she fights back. She's the smart character that I wish we'd see more of in horror movies. This movie was such a breath of fresh air, I'll never stop recommending it enough.

It would make them more exciting and unpredictable since we wouldn't know if the main characters survive or not.

I think this might be one of the highest on-screen kill counts for actual characters, not just extras. 15 deaths is a lot for such a short run time! And with the exception of the first two, they all appear in multiple scenes before dying.

I’ll never forget when I watched you’re next. I mean that opening sex scene with my mom next to me was a bit awkward but during the movie, my mom and I heard a noise and I paused the movie. My mom tells me to stay in the room while she goes to check it out. Obviously nothing happened but my kid brain was thinking “this is the exact dialogue that is said in a horror movie, yep we’re dead” 😂😂

One of the few times the final girl actually has good backstory to support why she is final girl

I just learned today that the mansion the movie was filmed at is like 10 minutes away from where i go to school (Mizzou) in Columbia, Missouri. How neat!

You're Next is such a good movie, it was honestly refreshing and I would love to see more characters like Erin in Horror films who actually fight back!!

One of those horror cases where you gotta make sure you aren't on the protagonist's bad side. Better hope that you aren't in those horror movies where the virgins get the bad ending.

I hope this movie gets a re-count. One of my favorite modern horror movies and I was disappointed it didn't make it into the Good New Movies playlist

honestly, You're Next will forever my personal favorite horror film and film in general. I think its nice that the acting feels real. Plus the gore is awesome. Not to much, not to little.
