I feel like we're watching the growth of a style here. A lot of the subject matters in Yon's songs are more melancholy, or even depressive, but with a very bright and cheery attitude. It reminds me of when people were making horribly graphic body horror art with pastel colors!

One day, when i was biking to school i had spotify on, and spotify recommended me Top 10 Things To Do Before You Die, and i really enjoyed it so i went on your Spotify page and played this song, and i nearly cried because i have a friend from school. We used to be best friends but he had been out of school because of mental health issues for almost a year, and neither of us had been courageous enough to reach out, so when this song played it reminded me so much of that. A few weeks later i sent him a message, and altough i havent seen his face or heard his voice since school, we now chat at least once every week. Thank you for making this.

This hits too close to home - I almost feel personally attacked. I've had so many best friends come and go online through the years, and now I barely talk to any of them. My friendship with them reminds me of the particular year or so of my life I was in touch with them, like pop music. They came and went, even the ones I was truly close with. This song hits right in the heart. And not just because it's an absolute bop to listen to!! Most of my friends were over the internet and I had a lot of close friendships that just gradually ended. It's tough seeing the time between conversations grow longer until you realize that years passed since you have last talked. I hope you are well. Reading this, I'm kind of afraid. I've always been kind of a lone wolf but recently realized how lonely I am. But shortly afterwards I met a really cool friend on Discord, I never knew anyone would like me. The thing is I'm often terrified of the possibility of losing them one day, but I guess the best I can do is to enjoy it while it lasts and make them happy while I can. Maybe if you still have your old friends' contacts, you can occasionally pop in and say hi, and let them know how important they once were to you. You'll be alright.

I had a friend I knew in person but because of quarantine our only contact was Discord and that kind of faded away. Something I've realised is that if I do want to keep a friend I need to make sure that there aren't too many more people involved or else I'll lose how to prioritise time spent. So I do now still have a Friendship with someone on Discord that's already lasted some years.

From my experience a lot of the time it's the other person losing interest that triggers this sequence of events They stop caring, their responses become 1 liners, and it makes you lose interest as a consequence, thus you don't talk anymore It depends on the case but as long as you talk to them regularly and hold a conversation for a little while, if they stop engaging in it you can be certain it's them being uninterested

Thigs will change and one will find new friends and also loose some. That is scary but comes with change. I have a friend over discord, now for over 5 years. But it ended a few months ago, things happend and both of us changed and it just didnt work out anymore. I really am sad that it ended in this way, but it happens. It isnt other people losing interest, but things changing and people going their way.

This song just gets to me every time… Can’t put into words how much I love it. This music basically sums up most online relations I've witnessed, people just click with one another, talk/chat for hours to no end thinking they found that one person. And just like pop music, before you know it, it's pretty much out of your life. "I'll reply later." "Today I don't feel like it." "Pretty sure they'll text first." weeks or even months go by, both wonder what went wrong, is the other one mad? is it too late now to say something? is it going to get awkward? If for some reason people get to talk again, the initial spark is already gone. Finding that pop music again is cool but doesn't hit like it used to be, feels like something from the past, even if the 'past' is as recent as last year.

Listening to this while in a lively internet friend group in which we all talk nearly every day.... I know it'll end some day. I think about that sometimes. Occasionally, everyone won't chat for a day or two in a row, and panic will slowly set in for me. But then they return and I feel better again. And yet I know it's an inevitably. We'll lose interest. We'll find someone else. Someday I won't be entertaining to talk to anymore. And then yet another chat will go silent forever, put in the archive folder with all the rest. I hope it won't happen anytime soon.

Honestly I hate life and depression sucks. This is one of the few people I managed to find that kept me from offing it early
