     @know1355 Sure. Tom talks about being Open-Minded Skeptic. We need both. This was the concept that shifted my perspective. This was the critical point for my case. Beliefs can be limiting factors in our reality. Now I see followed, ultimately every single different perspective I can perceive means growth in the sample size. The more data I have, the greater the accuracy is. I guess, just like "blind men and an elephant" story. Some beliefs changed in a short time, some took longer. Some are like peeling the layers of onion. Also aiming for zero judgement towards others, myself and any other thing was very helpful for me. Sending love ❤

    Life is the school and Love is the lesson. ~Aunty Elaine Whenever someone mentions remote viewing I feel inspired to mention how I learned about it. Sitting alone one night on a visit back home I sat quietly surfing the web. I suddenly heard a man's voice in my right ear, as clearly as if they were sitting right next to me. They said the words "remote viewing" in such a way that it could be understood very clearly. Not knowing what that was I googled it and watched a few videos about it on youtube and realized it's something I have a knack for. I've never heard a voice like that before or since. We have free-will and may not choose a particular journey, but there's never a need to project fear-based anger upon others that free-willingly chose a different path. Thank you Melissa for having Tom Campbell on your show! He is a wealth of information and I really enjoyed listening to his presentation. One thought I had after listening is perhaps the possibility that when we are here on Earth, what we do good or bad doesn't matter much until we get to the other side. Then that is where the learning takes place and our soul grows and we can become more "advanced." I say that because so many people with NDE's say that nobody is judging us on the other side, it is only us that do the judging. Even with bad experiences or something negative we did in our lifetimes, that could be a huge learning lesson on the other side. I'm not sure if my thought makes sense or not but I find all of this very fascinating.

    The sooner realize you’ve been told to believe everything you believe right now, including about yourself to some degree. You can choose to unlearn some of these things and open your mind to some real possibilities, one of them being that you know nothing and “I don’t know” has led to every single major discovery humanity has uncovered. Use critical thinking, not so open minded your brain falls out, but to truly be open to discovery and also that you may be something other than what you’ve been told.

    Id like to know about the key experiences Tom has had during "OBE" that had driven him to use the specific metaphors that he chose like virtual reality and data stream and things of that nature... I think we tend too often to forget that these are metaphoric/analogous as the more subjective nature of things leads us to have to lean on not fully accurate or precise descriptions of the nature of reality. I also get the sense that in some way we all have our own unique and subjective versions of the greater reality. That it is so absolute and ubiquitous that we are all creating our own version of it within our mind and the greatness of it can be perceived in as many different perspectives as there are entities to perceive it.

    48:40 I experienced a scenario very similar to what Tom is describing here on a heavy acid trip once: I was in direct contact with some kind of external entity seemingly of great power which was dictating things in a conceptual language beyond our ordinary senses, but they best way to describe it in English would be "These resources need to go here, and this thing needs to do this, and this energy will be allocated here, and we will put this over here and this will do this..." And I could see a dynamic visual representation of all this resource management going on as a series of interconnected sort of webs of parts, like a cross between a moving machine or flowchart, but way more complex and liquidy. Now I'm not sure if this was a process that was being communicated TO me or if I was just tuned into it, but as all of this was going on in my mind, the part of me which is conscious "questioned" this process or this entity. I Questioned it's authority or the validity of it's dictation of control. And it did NOT like being questioned. It's language switched to English, now for sure talking directly to me, and I was basically made to feel unwelcome and booted out of whatever realm I had found myself in. And then the rest of that trip was an anxious mess, I was drawing parallels to the garden of eden story and also invoking the demiurge, in trying to figure out exactly what had just happened. 🤣

    @aeixo2533

    19 күн бұрын

    To add to this story for anyone interested, It was this event among several others that eventually lead me to the conclusion that so much of my reality was a contruction of my mind. With many of my trips, I realised that I was always the one creating meaning out of the things that occured. The things that occured were always seemingly random and based upon my emotional state. If I was in a state of fear, then my fears were projected onto what I believed was external reality. If I was in a state of Love then this is also what would project upon my external reality. Many many different processes and lessons later, and I realised this was not something limited to altered states: it's something we're doing all the time. I was always trying to understand the universe through strictly logical and scientific views based upon the premise that there is an immutable objective reality, and therefore I would invoke reasons for the way things were that fit within these confines, invoking multiverses, black holes, speed of light, and how all of these things interplay in a bigger picture of reality etc. In altered states of mind where I was able to massively expand my consciousness and conceptually think about all of these things on levels far surpassing what is normally possible, I came upon something that I've named "Logic Traps" which is basically, I discovered that when viewing the univserse through a strictly logical, rational, scientific lens, if you follow everything to it;s source or logical conclusion, there is a paradox at the end. (Or beginning, it all becomes the same at this point) I realised there had to be something that transcends it all, and I realised that it was something that I was already well acquainted with: Love. Love doesn't care about any of that conditional cause and effect 3d reality stuff. It just loves. Love transcends space and time and will unite us all 💜 I don't know if Tom will ever see this comment, but I would love to have a chat with him someday as it seems we have come to very similar outlooks based upon very different journeys, will definitely be looking more into his work and checking out his big toe 🤣

That logic and reason don't matter, only subjective intuition matters...so yeah, none of this is particularly insightful or enlightening thus far. Lots of word salad without much actually being said.

    I think he makes it simple. I will try to break it down. The theory is that Consciousness is all there is. It broke into pieces (us) in order to become more and to evolve towards love or rather less disorder or rather more order and less fear. By itself, it would be limited on its advances so the pieces allow for more interaction and content to grow the quality of our consciousness. That is the impulse of Life. Be more love or devolve into randomness. Does this help?

    A segment from 'Saved by the Light of the Buddha Within'... My new understandings of what many call 'God -The Holy Spirit' - resulting from some of the extraordinary ongoing after-effects relating to my NDE... Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what some scientists are now referring to as the unified field of consciousnesses. In other words, it’s the essence of all existence and non-existence - the ultimate creative force behind planets, stars, nebulae, people, animals, trees, fish, birds, and all phenomena, manifest or latent. All matter and intelligence are simply waves or ripples manifesting to and from this core source. Consciousness (enlightenment) is itself the actual creator of everything that exists now, ever existed in the past, or will exist in the future - right down to the minutest particles of dust - each being an individual ripple or wave. The big difference between chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and most other conventional prayers is that instead of depending on a ‘middleman’ to connect us to our state of inner enlightenment, we’re able to do it ourselves. That’s because chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo allows us to tap directly into our enlightened state by way of this self-produced sound vibration. ‘Who or What Is God?’ If we compare the concept of God being a separate entity that is forever watching down on us, to the teachings of Nichiren, it makes more sense to me that the true omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence of what most people perceive to be God, is the fantastic state of enlightenment that exists within each of us. Some say that God is an entity that’s beyond physical matter - I think that the vast amount of information continuously being conveyed via electromagnetic waves in today’s world gives us proof of how an invisible state of God could indeed exist. For example, it’s now widely known that specific data relayed by way of electromagnetic waves has the potential to help bring about extraordinary and powerful effects - including an instant global awareness of something or a mass emotional reaction. It’s also common knowledge that these invisible waves can easily be used to detonate a bomb or to enable NASA to control the movements of a robot as far away as the Moon or Mars - none of which is possible without a receiver to decode the information that’s being transmitted. Without the receiver, the data would remain impotent. In a very similar way, we need to have our own ‘receiver’ switched on so that we can activate a clear and precise understanding of our own life, all other life and what everything else in existence is. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day helps us to achieve this because it allows us to reach the core of our enlightenment and keep it switched on. That’s because Myoho-Renge-Kyo represents the identity of what scientists now refer to as the unified field of consciousnesses. To break it down - Myoho represents the Law of manifestation and latency (Nature) and consists of two alternating states. For example, the state of Myo is where everything in life that’s not obvious to us exists - including our stored memories when we’re not thinking about them - our hidden potential and inner emotions whenever they’re dormant - our desires, our fears, our wisdom, happiness, karma - and more importantly, our enlightenment. The other state, ho, is where everything in Life exists whenever it becomes evident to us, such as when a thought pops up from within our memory - whenever we experience or express our emotions - or whenever a good or bad cause manifests as an effect from our karma. When anything becomes apparent, it merely means that it’s come out of the state of Myo (dormancy/latency) and into a state of ho (manifestation). It’s the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness, being awake or asleep, or knowing and not knowing. The second law - Renge - Ren meaning cause and ge meaning effect, governs and controls the functions of Myoho - these two laws of Myoho and Renge, not only function together simultaneously but also underlies all spiritual and physical existence. The final and third part of the tri-combination - Kyo, is the Law that allows Myoho to integrate with Renge - or vice versa. It’s the great, invisible thread of energy that fuses and connects all Life and matter - as well as the past, present and future. It’s also sometimes termed the Universal Law of Communication - perhaps it could even be compared with the string theory that many scientists now suspect exists. Just as the cells in our body, our thoughts, feelings and everything else is continually fluctuating within us - all that exists in the world around us and beyond is also in a constant state of flux - constantly controlled by these three fundamental laws. In fact, more things are going back and forth between the two states of Myo and ho in a single moment than it would ever be possible to calculate or describe. And it doesn’t matter how big or small, famous or trivial anything or anyone may appear to be, everything that’s ever existed in the past, exists now or will exist in the future, exists only because of the workings of the Laws ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ - the basis of the four fundamental forces, and if they didn’t function, neither we nor anything else could go on existing. That’s because all forms of existence, including the seasons, day, night, birth, death and so on, are moving forward in an ongoing flow of continuation - rhythmically reverting back and forth between the two fundamental states of Myo and ho in absolute accordance with Renge - and by way of Kyo. Even stars are dying and being reborn under the workings of what the combination ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’ represents. Nam, or Namu - which mean the same thing, are vibrational passwords or keys that allow us to reach deep into our life and fuse with or become one with ‘Myoho-Renge-Kyo’. On a more personal level, nothing ever happens by chance or coincidence, it’s the causes that we’ve made in our past, or are presently making, that determine how these laws function uniquely in each of our lives - as well as the environment from moment to moment. By facing east, in harmony with the direction that the Earth is spinning, and chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for a minimum of, let’s say, ten minutes daily to start with, any of us can experience actual proof of its positive effects in our lives - even if it only makes us feel good on the inside, there will be a definite positive effect. That’s because we’re able to pierce through the thickest layers of our karma and activate our inherent Buddha Nature (our enlightened state). By so doing, we’re then able to bring forth the wisdom and good fortune that we need to challenge, overcome and change our adverse circumstances - turn them into positive ones - or manifest and gain even greater fulfilment in our daily lives from our accumulated good karma. This also allows us to bring forth the wisdom that can free us from the ignorance and stupidity that’s preventing us from accepting and being proud of the person that we indeed are - regardless of our race, colour, gender or sexuality. We’re also able to see and understand our circumstances and the environment far more clearly, as well as attract and connect with any needed external beneficial forces and situations. As I’ve already mentioned, everything is subject to the law of Cause and Effect - the ‘actual-proof-strength’ resulting from chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo always depends on our determination, sincerity and dedication. For example, the levels of difference could be compared to making a sound on a piano, creating a melody, producing a great song, and so on. Something else that’s very important to always respect and acknowledge is that the Law (or if you prefer God) is in everyone and everything. NB: There are frightening and disturbing sounds, and there are tranquil and relaxing sounds. It’s the emotional result of any noise or sound that can trigger off a mood or even instantly change one. When chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo each day, we are producing a sound vibration that’s the password to our true inner-self - this soon becomes apparent when you start reassessing your views on various things - such as your fears and desires etc. The best way to get the desired result when chanting is not to view things conventionally - rather than reaching out to an external source, we need to reach into our own lives and bring our needs and desires to fruition from within - including the good fortune and strength to achieve any help that we may need. Chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo also reaches out externally and draws us towards, or draws towards us, what we need to make us happy from our environment. For example, it helps us to be in the right place at the right time - to make better choices and decisions and so forth. We need to think of it as a seed within us that we’re watering and bringing sunshine to for it to grow, blossom and bring forth fruit or flowers. It’s also important to understand that everything we need in life, including the answer to every question and the potential to achieve every dream, already exists within us.

    About the first couple of sentences in this video; our society has a real sickness where people act very certain about things they have absolutely no way of knowing, generally because they're too lazy to do hard research and ask questions that might make them feel vulnerable. About life, meaning, morality. Why would the consciousness underlying reality, or creation itself, need to "learn love"? Maybe it did, but logically that's kind of an assumption. First we need to ask: what is creation? Well, split an atom open and see for yourself: you get an explosive release of energy. Creation is just energy or light rearranged (what happens when you split an atom? Tons of light carrying lots of heat. What happens when electricity moving through a wire hits resistance? It converts to heat and light as it returns to, I'd argue, a more basic and free-floating state. Then you call the fire department, or enjoy your functioning light bulb) in tons of different ways, with physical matter just being a hyper dense concentration of energy, or light. What does light create? Shadows, or the apparent absence of light. I personally think (but don't know, because who can know) that creation and the consciousness underpinning it is defined by love and other positive, expanding energies that are deviations of love the same way the bed I'm laying on is just another variation of how light can form. Shadows, or essentially "light vacuums", are just an inevitable outcome of the interplay of light with itself, and the same is true of negative emotions. Therefore, I think (but certainly don't know) that consciousness is defined by expansiveness taking the form of intrinsic acceptance, or absolute love, and at the very most a person could make the argument that it's possible that at some point in it's mind bogglingly vast history this consciousness became aware of itself, and the absolute love that was intrinsic to it's very being from the beginning. But who can say for certain?

    This makes alot of sense to me. In my dreams, I'm often helping people in response to something devastating. From protecting my family, passing out coco to the masses, passing out seeds to my neighbors, planting fields, feeding kids in the midst of war, foraging for wild foods, and through it all there is an epic love story. So over and over again, I'm shown that I'm supposed to be God's helper.

    My question is where did consciousness originate from in the first place. I can't wrap my brain around creation as much as I tried to. I don't believe that we came out of nothing. My children went raised in religion and neither was I ... Have been a seeker since I was very young. I know that's something created everything but to grasp what that is is beyond our comprehension I think I think we can get a vague idea but that still doesn't give us the bottom line. Like where did that come From? My son doesn't believe that there's a Creator and I can't argue with him about this. We all come to our own conclusions. How could all of this come from nothing? That does not make sense ... not to me. I'm glad I found this video. I really needed to hear it today for a lot of reasons. I've studied about the Monroe institute and also Tom Campbell's interests in the past. I'm so interesting

    18:21 Is it confirmable that we are evolving towards lowering entropy within the system? I ask because many of the ancient teachings on consciousness say that we are actually in a pattern of devolution within an eternal cycle. The cycles is said to begin with order and knowledge of the unity and, slowly over millennia, we experience the entropy of this initial unity and devolve into a growing sense of separation. Not so different from Spring going into summer, autumn, and finally the dying winter, which creates the fertilizer for the next Spring.

    Consciousness is your infinite eternal Spirit. Physical Reality is an illusion of your consciousness and your mind creating separation. We are already 4th dimension beings because we are evolving through the 3d through awareness of being awareness and understanding that time and space is an illusion. It’s always and will forever be the eternal now. When you come to this understanding and that life naturally unfolds by simply being and acting on what excites you.

    It's probably too "out there" but I wonder if "this place" isn't the natural universe but is rather a simulation we're in temporarily that is running within the natural universe. A lot of near-death experiencers seems to say it feels "more real" on the other side and that this world is somehow an illusion and these bodies are like characters we're playing, so to speak.

    Saving an hour plus of my time- wasn't this basically the message Jesus gave us? I saw the matrix in the early 1970's when the Lord showed me. I figured the first Star Trek was disclosure and quite old history with which they were trying to wake up the living dead. I paid attention and was taught to think for myself. Better to be connected to the power source when one's battery dies. 👍 "When men fear the heights and dangers of the road, when the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper loses its spring, and the caper berry shrivels-for then man goes to his eternal home and mourners walk the streets. Remember Him before the silver cord is snapped and the golden bowl is crushed, before the pitcher is shattered at the spring and the wheel is broken at the well, before the dust returns to the ground from which it came and the spirit returns to God who gave it."
