​@finallyinnerpeace8043 They sign contracts releasing the arbitrator (Judge Judy) from any liability regarding their case. Nobody is holding a weapon at their head, forcing them to be on JJ's show. They know what they're signing on for... resolution. And if they're insulted by Judge Judy's handling of their case, then that's just too bad. They have to swallow their pride - especially if they're in the wrong and they are losing their case. Shame on the defendant - not on Judge Judy.

Who the h would throw their dog into a coffee-shop? Doesn't happen. Pay her dog's vet bills. SIMPLE.

Zero remorse or willingness to take responsibility. It’s repulsive how she’d rather lie in court than admit her fault.

When she said threw the dog in she illustrated by doing an underhand motion which sounds plausible because the plaintiff is short so the dog would only be a foot or so from the floor. She never suggested that it was a malicious act. JJ was the one who concocted that scenario way before the trial had begun. I have seen a person carry their small dog into the dog park and when she deems it safe she does a scoop motion releasing her dog to jump readily down a a few feet and run around anxiously.

Poor baby suffering. The doggie is so cute. I had the same dog for 14 years & miss him so much. They bark a lot but, otherwise they’re calm. They are very smart & quick learners. 💔

Maybe what could have happened (I’m saying maybe because I wasn’t there) was she could have been holding her dog and then put the dog down as she walked in the door and that’s when the problem started. What I DO know for a FACT is this; unless it’s a service dog, LEAVE it at HOME where it belongs! I can’t even begin to count the number of times when I was either at Starbucks or at a restaurant and another person’s dog either tried to jump up or bother my children (One of them is afraid of dogs) OR they tried to beg for my food as I dined. Then I GET into trouble because I ask the owner if they could control their dogs! Btw, I hope that little dog is ok.

Pitbulls are banned in some countries, because they are bred to fight. That's their character, build and genetics. They may also be loyal pets with their family, but they can't help their natures. Part of their breeding is to make them powerful, their jaws almost impossible to open once latched on, and almost impervious to pain. If you want a dog like that in your home/coffee shop, when there are plenty of dogs that aren't bred for all that, 'nuff said about you.

Dogs can appear to be 'calm' when they are not treated well. 😢
