This was done with Bourbons a while back but with slightly different categories. Great idea. Arette is $23 for 750. Crazy. I think Olmeca Altos is just as available as Espolon and much better as a mixer. Also Cimarron.

Fortaleza not readily available and Fortaleza does poorly in blind tastings, including their videos here.

Great stuff guys. No brainer to adapt this to Tequila. It would have been cool to keep the categories the same as the whiskey challenge tho. I also would have like to see each of you choose for the different categories.

Espolon used to be a go to mixer for me until the price jumped up, in addition to there being a handful of cheaper and better tequilas out there that are pretty readily available.

Fortaleza anejo and repo are great options I'd have a hard time passing up. Tears is expensive but so unique!

Loving the support behind different expressions from NOM 1146. That said, my simple Nom 1146 themed 5 would be: Daily: Don Fulano Fuerte Mixer: Cimarron Repo Special: Don Fulano Imperial Party: Espolon (cus I’m not buying 1146 quality for my degenerate friends) Gift: ArteNom 1146 EDIT: changed “special” to DF Imperial, because it’s much more unique (to me) than Fuenteseca

Everytime I watch you guys do anything on tequila I wish I liked tequila. The earthiness always taste like ginseng to me and I can never get past it.

Where do the Fortalezas rank in these categories? You guys were raving about this brand and its products so much in the Fortaleza video, but it didn't show up in this video at all. Since I haven't tried them, I'm curious

In lieu of the Fuenteseca, ArteNOM 1146 is fantastic and comes in a box too.
