LB trying to rewrite history. Man city started very well in that game & pushed us back but we didn't start the game like that. Arsenal fans hate facts when they go against them. City have been playing poorly the whole season (until very recently, and even then it’s been shaky at times) while Arsenal have been on fire nearly the whole season. Playing for a draw doesn’t win you titles. To win titles, you have to play to win all your games bc nothing is guaranteed. And since Arsenal had at the time and still do, the best defense in the league, it’s a little odd he didnt trust them against a beleaguered City side and go for the win, instead electing to play it safe, park the bus and if a goal could come out of it then great, but if not, draw works well. City has made it now so that draws hurt nearly as bad as losses in title races and Arteta should’ve known that or was too arrogant or naieve to think that it didn’t apply to him. Now Arsenals title hopes rest on a slip up from City, which as a City fan, as long as Pep keeps playing this stupid high line that leaves us exposed to counter attacks from every team regardless of how good they might be, it could def still happen

If you disagree then disagree but majority of Gunners agreed with Mikel’s approach. It’s the results against Fulham, Villa and West Ham that we will regret because those games were way more winnable than City at the Etihad.
