FINALLY! Someone gets it! This movie has a way of directorial deception I've never seen before, there is a whole other subdued plot happening the whole time! Allison is the mastermind who uses her charm and innocent looks to not only fool society but manipulate the audience as well. Josh is merely a pawn being moved on Allison's chess board. Notice how Allison's pendant at the party displays the white piece but is submerged by the black backdrop of her shirt. This movie requires ATTENTION! Great review!

I'm so happy that someone else finally made an in depth video about this! But I'm angry that you beat me too it >:( (Edit:) I wrote that comment before actually watching the video... You, with your first analysis; being that of allison's role in the intro (Another edit inside of my original edit: I have begun to rewatch the video, and I must say I wasn't listening the first few minutes on my first watch, so what I'm referring to above Is her Presence as another main character, not her being a psychopath) , felt like the missing piece to the puzzle. But as I began to watch more, I felt genuine dread. Like the same Dread I would feel watching the movie, but amplified. I wanted to think you were crazy, I wanted to believe this was just a crackpot theory video. But it wasn't that easy... Part of me refuses to believe this, but I know I can never look at this (Beautiful film) the same way again. Thank You, for subverting my expectations of what this video would say, and my understanding of this film!

When I began to understand what he was talking about, I got genuinely scared. Even if what he says is true, I refuse to let go of my original understanding of the movie. I love being able to accept both plots as either true or false, brings a whole new meaning of the film into view for me.
