That Paladin Armor set seems good. But so far I've only gotten the helmet from that set. I'm sure the rest will come my way eventually. Hey when will Ubisoft fix that annoying problem of the M tattoo designs being stuck in the item container. Also I think their's a problem with the long ship cosmetics. They keep on reverting back to default setting after awhile.

You can downgrade armor as well it cost hunk of silver but u do get ur ingot back so u can save it for when a hotfix comes out

With transmogrification available, we don't have to choose between form and function. The only reason to ignore stats at this point is that you simply have no interest in that part of the game.

Same I upgraded the best looking set IMO and when cooler looking sets came out I transmoged over it. The perks and stats layout is so unnecessary with all the "Skills" cough cough 466

The reaper chest piece and boots fit a Ragnar themed outfit so well….kinda, if only the chest piece was shorter (like ravens clan chest piece short) otherwise it just looks like your wearing a dress🥲

I agree. Think most chest peices have the same issue of being too long. Only short one is the huldofolk but even that has a skirt hanging to the side.

The Best One handed swords for me is Durendal and Ring Sword because i'm using Niflheim armors set so i have a great Crit Chance and changed the looks into The Reaper sets with Frankish Cloak so i finally looks like The King in The North!

Love the difficulty spike they added with this dlc. Played on drengr and there was some genuinely challenging fights, one in particular that I won’t spoil but if you know you know. The paladin set actually got me to switch off the Celtic set. Both are the coolest looking sets in the game in my opinion

The Seige of Paris DLC is what the base game should have played like. I'm only using the Basim outfit, and it FINALLY feels like an Assassins Creed game! I feel like a bad as assassin in the infiltration missions sneaking around on rooftops and collecting information on my target to locate their destination. I really hope they continue to build on this gameplay. My only real gripe is the combat is so floaty. Ubisoft really needs to work on their hit collision mechanics and animations so the player feels their hits actually have an effect on the enemy and vice versa. I feel like swinging my sword just passes through the enemy, and not actually hit them. Like in Ghost of Tsushima, the sword play felt meaty and each hit connected and the enemies reacted. Half the time in Valhalla I'm just swinging and the enemies are still charging forward until their health bar is depleted. They barely react to blows unless it stuns them.

Also needs to go back to Unity parkour system or more modernised version as it's painful to parkour around Paris. They also didn't give much thought to roof gaps, no clear lines between buildings leading to an awkward drop. Also they need to make the safety roll/breakfall appear at lower heights so the run animation momentum/flow isn't stopped.

@@DioStandProud TBF the only two game since Ezio trilogy that we played as a true Assassin have been AC3 Connor who trained under Achilles to become an assassin and AC Origins, Bayek who cofounded the Brotherhood. The rest of the games even Blackflag we play as someone posing as an Assassin but never really trained, took the oathe etc. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@@neonmatt24 the final sequence of AC2 and Black Flag you are officially an Assassin either by name or by initiation. And you also forgot the original Assassin's Creed lol. Regardless I'm TIRED of playing as great value isu. If they want to make an isu game then they should just make it. But complete it with their aesthetic versus having them be knockoffs from God of War. Like damn if Unity weren't so awkward to play even after patches it would easily be my favorite gameplay wise.

I’ve been out of town until today. So hyped to play the DLC today!

Reaper set shows up in transmog for me, rocking it's look over the Paladin set atm.

Had a lot of issues with the DLC, first I got a save corruption for all local files (i.e. error popups for all autosaves) luckily cloud saves works fine. Then I realized that I had no option to upgrade any of the trousers/boots, I suspect this is due to the new sword category but thats just speculation.

If you want to upgrade boots for example, wear them. Otherwise they wont show up for some reason

Pretty simple but I use flawless reaper mask with basim outfit. Goes VERY well together

So far the siege of Paris DLC is the funnest I’ve had with Valhalla since release I’m loving the different game mechanics in without a doubt the assassinations and they are going to support the game for another year I hope they will do more expansions like this one

Yup I'm enjoying the DLC also. So glad I bought the game with season pass.

It's sad they basically made every armor set the way they did. Still missing the Odyssey builds.

I'd like more slots for your armor and weapons sets, same thing that Odyssey had. I think you could save 4 or 5 different armor and/or weapon sets if you had bought the slots for them. That way you could easily swap your armor or weapons. I also miss the "equip set" button from Odyssey aswell..

I’d actually prefer more sets. Stats and perks rarely work correctly-if at all-in this game, so I’d rather look dope (with transmog) than rock some buffed set that may, or may not, work (and isn’t really needed if it does work, even on drengr).

That is one of the things Odyssey did better. The legendary sets were all non-immersive nonesense (for the most part) but the standart sets like the spartan and athenian srmours were pretty normal, realistic and historical looking. After the transmog system i mostly went with them. In Valhalla i really have problems. The Dyfin and Byzantine Sets really made a difference but besides that i mostly run in the Bronze version of the Ravenset. Everything else is either nonsense Plate or too long.

Yeah you're telling me. I still can't figure out how much something like +30 crit is percentage wise. And apparently you can reach some invisible cap when It comes to melee damage??

I actually love the armour sets as if anyone who has played a bit or completed the DLC they seem quite fitting I’d say as paladin is angelic like and Reaver is well the opposite(?)

The paladin is meant to be Frankish armour like the Frankish light/heavy cavalry

@Jorraptor actually the DLC armors are in the transmog menu it's just the armor section of it won't let you scroll down if you have too many armor sets had this problem since the last update before the newest one

I can see myself using transmog for the paladin set and changing it to the reaper one

The transmog for the reaper set worked for me. I have it set up on my mentor's set

I found you can't revert them back as well I had this problem with the paladin armor as well. I found that downgrading mythic gear u don't use reduces the amount of armor in the tramsmog allowing you to change to the pieces that may not show.i took my mentors gear and downgraded the chest piece and cloak because my paladin chest piece and cloak wouldn't show up and by downgrading the mentors set that was mythic made it show up. I believe if you have a lot of armor mythic it takes up space and won't show certain pieces of gear in transmog do to it showing the silver and bronze versions sometimes even the grey versions. Idk if it'll work for everyone else but that's what I did to make them show up.

Anyone else realise that at Sigfreds camp near the river you can arm wrestle with some Vikings it's just to the right of the thousands eyes kid

Has anyone been experiencing the drunk bug again when they start up the game? I've had it a few times now, but thankfully it's only when I initially load the game and not every time I fast travel/reload/etc. Also did anyone have an issue with the Thrym's Rage predator bow duplicating a bunch of times in the inventory/blacksmith menu? I've noticed these bugs as of the new update.

Paladin Set with Gae Bolg and Gungnir dual wielded is utterly insane

I was able to change back to the face mask in the transmog system

For me both the reaper face masks and paladin set appear in the transmog system. Might just be a bug for a few. Loving the DLC so far!

@@LuciferD2 It is due to the number of transmog options available. I found there is a cap for available transmog options and when i downgraded gear both sets appeared.

Don't buy the reaper set until the chest at rank 4, you get the pieces automatically when you finish the rank they appear at

Just waiting for the werewolf set to drop in the helix store

The problem with transmog isn't actually with those sets. It's with the invisible limit that for some reason was put on transmog list. Basically only 60 appearances of an item are shown in the transmog menu. So for example if you have 61 different appearances of a helmet unlocked, one of them won't be available through transmog. The only solution to this right now is to downgrade some of the items you don't use.

When are we getting a cloak that has no cape :( I dont like the look of the modern day set one. I want one similar to randvis.

I haven't encountered any problems when transmogging to the reaper set

I've been rocking the einherjar set and druids set for a while now but I may try this paladin set see if it is worth it.

Does the transmog system work with the new weapons from the siege of Paris DLC?

A bit late but I love using the reaper armor with the druidic headgear so it looks like you have a skull mask under the hood

And the swords i Transmog the looks into The Coil Swords so it looks like Black Swords and it fit with my Outfit.

In case anyone is interested, I found an infamy farming spot. In case if you are looking for an easy and quick Infamy farming spot, if you go to the rebel in Chartres and select the final mission on the first list, the target will always be between Stampis and the bridge over Aura river, making it very quick to complete the missions. Note that guarding the bridge are two cavalry soldiers, but if you kill them once they won't respawn as we are doing the farming over a relativelly small area. I have done over 10 in a row, the target is always on the mentioned area lol

Hey Jordan , can you please talk about the bug in the siege of Paris where we can no longer perform the behind the enemy stun finisher with our own weapon after after unlocking the backstab skill please so that Ubisoft can be aware of it and hopefully patch it .

@@ayden8297 no I’m talking about the execution animation you get after you unlock the backstab skill , you go behind a stunned enemy and press the heavy attack while they’re stunned to perform a finisher with your own weapon , it got left out from the siege of Paris but it’s present in England and Ireland

I don’t know why but I can’t see the pants option when you want to enhance gear in the blacksmith, you can see them in downgrading them though

That may be best armour sets in Valhalla! But to me it's armour I can't use because the game keeps kicking out of the game if I try to equip them so I'm NEVER going to buy another Unisoft game & I'll tell everyone who plays it

This dlc seems pretty cool so far and I really like the weapons and armor

I would rock paladin armor but make it look like the reaper armor and put that reaper rune on it

So are the hoods in combat coming? It’s getting annoying cuz they literally can add that feature easily its the easiest thing and the most simple.

They wont add it because the hood is a tool the player has to sneak through restricted areas and having it on permanently would just ruin a game mechanic.

@@sexyboyebay211 They didnt need to tie that mechanic to the hood but the cloak. Instead of the hood going down, the cloak couldve gone down instead revealing all your weapons and gear.

And my two fav weapons in this siege of paris dlc is joyeuse sword and that other one handed sword ( forgot the name of it ) its not ring sword or egbert

The gothic armor and weapon set is still better than what's in the new DLC, I haven't stopped using it since I got it.

I was able to use the transmog to revert it back to the mask

Siege of paris dlc is amazing the whole map is great looks poor and floored near the wall but the reaper and the paladin armour are my fav

Im upset to here we got 2 outfits cause the dlc art they showed in the post launch trailer had a assassin outfit and I really wanted to wear that

paladin armor with einherjar cloak and einherjar bracers is my combo rn.

save files issue remain on ps5 for a decent chunk. Every save barely into the dlc becomes corrupted.

just popped into Valhalla to finish the DLC as well as the challenges and saw that all my opal was gone, had about 200 now it's just 0....the hell happened!!!

Jor ! Is it me or feels like the new ability , the bombing one , feels weak as hell compared to the other abilities? im playing on the hardest of the hardest difficult on both nightmarish and very hard level and the bomb doesnt do any damage at all lol ..

The Paladin set in my opinion is the most badass over powered set in the game, the set realises my inner Knight.

I could change back the mask in reaper set.

I find it weird that the Knights of the Round Table armour doesn’t have better stats - given it’s meant to be plate mail

hoods seem to be back in the load screen now after they were removed

The paladin chest piece isn't spawning on the map for me? I have the map that tells me when it's the armour/weapon but that icon isn't appearing on the map for me, and my inventory is not showing i have it. Edit - may be locked behind quest? Not certain but cannot get the paladin chest at this time

Hey I actually found a way to make your outfit glow , if you remove one health rune in an armor piece your outfit will glow because of Idunn's heart making the game think that you took damage and try to heal you I actually found out just. Sorry for the grammer.

I have ac valhalla disc version on xbox one x with the last couple of updates I've noticed frame rate issues and slowdown and freezing for a couple of seconds and then continues it sometimes happens in cutscenes but mostly when riding my horse or on foot or in battle it's not my console as it plays every other game fine and it use to be the same for valhalla until the updates is anybody else is having these issues on xbox one x or am I just unlucky with this issue?

The mask shows up for me in the transmog on ps5, but is cannot change my Legs anymore...

So I'm playing the siege of Paris and on some of the cutscenes eivor is invisible and you can only see his wepons

best armour set is still the brigandine but i love the paladin for a new transmoc

You can transmog the top tier Reaper armour, but not the tiers below (so you can’t switch out the full mask for the face cloth mask)

Should i use the Paladins or stay with the Druidic armour

Might try mixing two pieces from paladin set and jorm set since that's the only way to make the bonus melee damage worthwhile

+50 damage on Paladin armor not making a difference must be a bug, such a big number has to make a difference. Is it still the case?

1:14 does anyone know what tattoo Jor is using in this clip?

JOR - Stacking armors - The paladin set is 50 melee damage right ? on the 2 piece. So the 2 piece from river raids gives you a bonus to melee damage based on your assassination damage. Which for me was another 30 melee damage from the 2 piece. So +80 Melee dmg on the armor set :) It is the perfect combination. Can even use the cloak you mentioned in previous to match the 2/2/1 set bonuses.

I've been trying to find armor that actually increases damage for a while now. I give up this game stats are wack.

Please help, please advise if you can no longer Enhance Trousers at the blacksmith? I went to all the blacksmiths and I want to enhance the reaper pants and Trousers do not appear. Is anyone else having this issue? Im playing on PC. Thanks

Its a bug. Wear them and they will be on top of the list.

I am still playing with mixing 2 and 2.

Anyone else having their save data corrupted as soon as they try to play Siege of Paris? I downloaded it, played the first mission to open up the map, then when I try to go anywhere I get ‘unable to save game, reload to previous save’

On my compass in Valhalla I don’t see the distance on icons… Does anyone else have this glitch? If so how do I fix it?

You didn’t mention at the end to why not upgrade that ability to level 2. Why not? I did that myself.

Because when you throw the enemy, you can’t get as many hits. With level one, they stay there and you can get more hits to basically do more damage and get more adrenaline
