No matter if you just started technical diving training, be a cave diver or a recreational scuba diver - having the right tools at hand when scuba diving is important. I have a Tarantool in my dive equipment wetnotes with me on all of my dives - no matter if tec diving or recreational diving and it saves me a dive from time to time that would have been canceled due to leaking hoses, loose argon straps, jammed inflators etc. It even saved some of my students their global underwater explorers class! In this 2-minute-tuesday (I know....it's again longer than 2 minutes.....) I show you the amazing wetnotes tool, the Tarantool!

Ouh, I wanted one of those since the instructor adjusted a nervous reg with it underwater during my Fundies, but haven't bought it yet because it's a bit pricey. Then again, when compared to all the other dive gear, it's not so bad!

Looks cool but 85 USD and international shipping seems pretty steep for what it is.

How does it compares with the Pandora-Tool, in your opinion? The Pandora is cheaper.

The Pandora tool feels more „wobbly“ when you use it on really tight screws. I think the tools are the same, though.
Dr. Ben I’d love to get the tool but the link below the video did not work and searching Tarantool also is very tricky. I could not find a place to buy it outside of Arab Emirates. Are they still making and selling it?

@@DoktorBEN I found a few places that have it, but I will wait for you to post a link. $85 seems like a lot of money, but I have 5 sets of fins, 3 dive computers, etc.

@@DoktorBEN it does seem hard to find. It’s definitely priced as a specialty diver item, but they really seem to have put a ton of thought into the design. I haven’t been able to find it in the US. Do you have any new sources for it?
